Man you can check my development history, it's not my first time to post a recovery or root for a device... on this device, it worked for 90% of the users but there are some who didn't manage to get it to work.
Hope someone posts up a screenshot with the model number and enough proof for me to verify but thanks anyways.

Magisk

So I actually was able to finally flash Magisk 13.1 onto our device and it ran stable until I updated it to 13.2 then it went haywire. Anyway I wanted to share what happened that is related to the greyed out OEM unlock button, Mine has been greyed out the minute I unlocked boot loader and installed recovery but when I flashed Magisk it all of a sudden is not greyed out. I am wondering instead of it being a corrupt recovery could it be that it is SuperSU that is causing the issue?
EDIT: The reason I am suspecting SuperSU is because in order to get Magisk to run properly I had to let it use its own root 13.1 Magisksu now my button is no longer greyed out

i think its suppose to be greyed out, because mine is and its all working just fime. the only problem i had was one i created myself.

Just flash magisk by itself. No SuperSU

It wont let me boot into TWRP

---------- Post added at 06:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:07 PM ----------

My phone says March 1 2017

When I open the recovery.img on the computer it says its corrupted, Maybe thats why the message pops up when one tries to go into TWRP.

I think there were only updates for the T-Mobile variant.

if you are sure that you flashed the recovery correctly then you may be among the 10% i talked about who can't reach twrp.

root lg k20

is there a you tube video that shows clearly every step needed to root the lg k20 plus including unlocking bootloader? I've just gone through 2 plus years of taking care of my wife who had cancer. I haven't been doing anything related to the phone, she just passed away 6 weeks ago. I'm sorry but I just am not savvy enough to understand everything anymore and could really use a video that shows exactly which steps I must take to get this phone rooted.

Mind posting how it was done? i'm currently having the can't check for corruption issue right now on my Tmobile k20.
Double tap power while holding volume down on LG screen then when it asks you to erase go to yes then yes again then it should boot up again and when you see the corruption promp again just ignore it and double tap power with volume down as if you were going to erase but instead it goes into TWRP (make sure you are holding the power button while double tapping, can't get any easier than that).
