All of David's TWRPs work, though the latest is quite slow during backup and probably restore, too.
As for the official one, the last known(to me) working version is from early 2015 or 16,followed by two completely wrecked ones. If there was a new release within the last year, that may be fine. The official maintainer has/had no P605, but upon feedback that a release is completely useless, they should pull it from the server at least.

TWRP 3.2.3-0 => still gapps installation not possible

Update worked for me. But still I have no chance to install gapps (tried to mount sytem partition and so on).
Always Error64 ...
How can I support debugging/fixing the problem?

Quite so, if you can debrand it by simply installing stock Lollipop in Download Mode via Kies. If there's a warning or you end up with a fresh install of the T-Mobile rom, things get worse.
The T-Mobile version may have different hardware, too. It appeared half a year later than the regular P605. And i found it strange that it got the Lollipop update much earlier. Normally the open rom version is first.

This seems to be a unique feature for TWRP on Samsung devices. However, it never worked on both of mine, baseband/modem was always write protected.

@davidmueller13 FYI
Noticed today that 3.3.0-0 doesn't give my the EFS/Modem backing up option.
Returned to 3.2.3-0 which does.
Thanks nevertheless for you made both. :good:
What should be the advantage of the newer to the older version or in other words any disadvantage in keeping the older one?

Have just encountered this error for the first time while upgrading from LOS14. 1 to 16. You have to flash GAPPS separately, without needing to reboot, but you have to mount /system/ in TWRP prior to flashing. Rom, Magisk & stuff don't need this and if several zips are flashed in a row, Gapps will complain, even if /system/ had been mounted.
