why does it matter you unlock it or not. Xiaomi supports unlocking bootloader without voiding warranty until it is mentioned in your country specifically that it will void warranty.

Is this compatible with redmi 9t 12.5.7 global android 11?
This didn't work with my redmi 9t lime running 12.5.8 anrdoid 11, it got stuck in a loop on fastboot, I had to flash the original stock recovery back to get it out of the fastboot loop. I ended up using twrp instead and it seems to work fine. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-3-5-a10-twrp-unnoficial-for-lime-redmi9t-beta.4233045/
I really wanted to try the original "juice" version but it appears to have disappeared in favor of the newer "garden" version. I tried both OrangeFox-R11.1_0-Unofficial-garden.zip and [email protected]_0.zip from https://orangefox.download/device/garden and both got me stuck in a fastboot loop.

EDIT: I got it OrangeFox working by using the following file. (no idea why I can't find any pages that reference the file)
OrangeFox-R11.1-Stable-Unofficial-lime.zip
