Some reboot options within TWRP seems are not working with latest build.
Reboot to recovery and download mode specifically. They het stuck in kernel boot.

When I compiled twrp from source, I noticed that the dt.img was out of date when I updated the kernel. Maybe this has something to do with your reboot issues because everything is working with my version of twrp that was compiled from official sources. Some reboot options within TWRP seems are not working with latest build.

Flash "boot image patch" from here, wipe data (back up sensitive data first) and reboot recovery.See attached photo - what could be the problem? TWRP 3.1.0 can't mount /data and shows it as 0MB size.
The T813 is rooted already (SuperSU), and OEM Unlock is enabled in the dev options. Anything else I forgot for it all to work?
Maybe of use to know - I tried Heimdall on three different computers, Linux and Windows, and none of them worked. In the end I used Odin to install TWRP on the T813.
Is there any way to to install TWRP without formatting the DATA partition, or a way to backup and restore it? I'm staying with the stock ROM and I don't wanna lose all my apps and app data and settings.Flash "boot image patch" from here, wipe data (back up sensitive data first) and reboot recovery.

Yes, just flash twrp with odin and no need to wipe/format anything. Is there any way to to install TWRP without formatting the DATA partition, or a way to backup and restore it? I'm staying with the stock ROM and I don't wanna lose all my apps and app data and settings.
Well those limitations are quite important features.Yes, just flash twrp with odin and no need to wipe/format anything.
The recovery will be able to flash things, but you can't browse root folder and sd card from twrp. And also you won't be able to use twrp for backup.
In my knowledge, you can't have root without a custom recovery.Well those limitations are quite important features.
What about this, is it possible to root without TWRP, so that I can use titanium backup to backup all apps+data, then proceed to install TWRP and wipe data, then root again, and restore with titanium backup? If so, how can I root it without TWRP?
Thanks!
Reboot into twrp, browse system apps and delete the twrp app.Hi,
by mistake (forgot to uncheck in TWRP before reboot) I installed the twrp manager. How can I uninstall the placeholder for the app? It gives me only the option to disable.
Under /system/app there is no twrp app. I haven't installed it yet from play store.Reboot into twrp, browse system apps and delete the twrp app.
Hmmm, it should be there somewere in system or system/priv-app...Under /system/app there is no twrp app. I haven't installed it yet from play store.
When opening twrp manager from drawer, he asks me to update the app from play store or the website. I have no need for such a manager.

It's not a harmful app though...![]()
If you want to get it supported you have to spend time with me testing it. Last time I did T713 support I had to wait like a day for a stupid screenshot.@LuK1337 Dev, would you consider adding T819 (gts210velte) to supported devices? For recovery should be minor differences (modem & efs partition). It will open the path to the AOSP Roms. Can help with a git with clean for compile BQD1 kernel sources and with vendor files.Thank you!
For the recovery part it's a deal. I know how much pain is to debug the RIL, but this is (or will) be on another agreementIf you want to get it supported you have to spend time with me testing it. Last time I did T713 support I had to wait like a day for a stupid screenshot.

I am not going to work on Lineage for it. I can get recovery officially supported but that's it.For the recovery part it's a deal. I know how much pain is to debug the RIL, but this is (or will) be on another agreement. Thank you Dev, waiting for instructions on priv.
Here you go ~ https://dl.twrp.me/gts210velte/ but if you think that this will make people actually work on AOSP ports you're wrong.@LuK1337 Dev, would you consider adding T819 (gts210velte) to supported devices?
