U sure that you installed the right TWRP? Which Tablet and while file was used?
Nope, it was a different one (gts28), now i have installed the right one, but can not do anything, it seems that i can not use the Storage, just shows me 0MB. I can not back up or delete either.
This massage appears when i try to back up, wipe is similiar:
Unable to mount storage
Failed to mount '/data'(Invalid argument)

I've been running LOS 16, and using TWRP 3.2.3-0 on my T813, tried to update to 3.3.0-0 today, except it won't decrypt my data. Going back to 3.2.3-0 everything works again. Anyone else? Being TWRP though, I'm not sure what to pull or what would be helpful.

I'm having the exact same issue right here....

I guess the question is does the latest recovery work for anyone? If I format data, and reinstall LOS 16, will it then work?

I have been using Twrp 3.3.0 and works fine for me but I haven't formatted Data yet.
I used 3.3.0 to format data with no issue and clean install crDroid 5.3 (pie). FWIW I don't use encryption

You say that there's a crdroid 5.3 pie for the Samsung Galaxy T813? Could you please point to a link or tell where to find it.
Built it myself. As far as I know I'm the only one using it, so it's working fine for me but you'll have to use at your own risk. I'll upload and share the link, but might have to wait until after work

Same warning as before, it's working seemingly fine on my tablet but who knows, I'm the only user, so you're doing this at your own risk. Make a nandroid backup for sure. Clean flash since it's a new ROM. Backup your internal storage. Be safe. I'm going to make myself updates for the monthly security patches at the very least. Can do weeklies or something if there's interest. Also if I'm allowed to be sharing these, these aren't my device trees or code or anything, I just sync & build.

I'm also working on collecting all (and I mean ALL) the Odin(/Heimdall) firmware files. So far I have all of the latest build from last year, and I'm working on the one that just dropped this year. Nice to have in case of a soft brick:

Nougat

Marshmallow (lower priority unless someone needs something)

Well it's running fine I've been using the rom for a few hours and everything is working well. Definitely lots of custom Options. Nice job ? Thanks again

@LuK1337 3.3.1..0 also doesn't work with encryption. 3.3..0.0 didn't decrypt data, 3.3.1.0 doesn't even ask for a password/pin for me. Just boots straight into TWRP and shows the system as 0 MB. 3.2.3.0 still works perfectly though.

Hello everyone :)

I just finished modifying TWRP from the official device tree. It is now based on Android 9.0, TWRP 3.3.1 and can decrypt (tested with LineageOS 16.0 and f2fs on /data) + some other changes.

For now the only thing I can't get working is restarting in Download mode from the TWRP interface. I haven't tested everything so it may be that there are other errors >>> if you can do tests and get back to me with logs it would be great ;) once I have enough positive feedback I will propose to integrate my changes into the official TWRP device tree.

!!!!! ATTENTION !!! I AM NEW SO THERE ARE RISKS, MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR DATA BEFORE TESTING (but normally it should be ok...)
IF YOU ARE NEW WAIT FOR THE STABLE VERSION BEFORE FLASHING !!!!

What's not working :
  • Need test & review : format data, then try encrypt / decrypt, post you ROM, partition data type (ext4 or f2fs), and other information.
  • Need test & review : verify if survival modules are keep after ota update with encryption.
