good friends, I would like to know if it is advisable to install the recovery teamwin as several friends have had problems and have failed to install the new ROM 156 and if you tried to return to the 155 rom or could not know and so I wonder if you can keep the old recovery. You do a great job. Thanks

can someone tell me whether to flash the ROM 156, eos team must change the recovery to teamwin or we leave we install the rooting. Thanks

nobody can tell me if the ROM for eos4 worth the recovery team or 4.0.0.4 must be installed or TWR teamwin is that I would keep my old recovery and if not with team in eos4 I can continue with.

I installed from my old recovery and screwed up my device. Ended up flashing honeycomb IMG files via fastboot totally back to stock. I would install the latest Teamwin if my experience is anything to go by.

Short form tutorial ---

Root Xoom - if you are on 155 you have done this

install TWRP recovery -- check the thread in Developers forum for Xoom for links and instructions - this recovery seems to work well with all of the ROMS I've tried -- and is tested to work properly for the the 160 nightly for 4.2

Download the 160 nightly and the 1209 dated Gapps ( note.... due to technical issues with the Xoom this is the only one that will work properly.
Follow the instructions for EOS4 in the dev forum.
