Many people think that '' wtf this device with 1gb ram and 8gb rom in 2019''. However majority doesn't think that may be more than half of the world's population could not afford to buy a device priced over 50-100 $. Project Android Go of Google will be a global challange. Many manifacturers are ready to sell or at the moment selling this kind of devices below 100$. The developers in XDA ( I appreciated them all) are generally working on devices with high specs - flagships. ( May be I am wrong). This kind of Android Go devices will be used in a near future may be more than these flagships. I am a specialist medical doctor. I used lots of devices from nexus 5 to iphone 7 and as an enthusiast my last device was an Mi A1 android one. One day I saw Redmi Go in a store with a very low price. Specs was low but has android 8.1. I decided to try it. I looked at the apps I frequently used ( Whatsapp, banking apps, mail, player pro music app, mx player pro, keep, spotify, google photos and nothing more - I don't use facebook and instagram, however in store lite versions are present) I also installed poco launcher and opera touch and used 16gb sd card as internal memory.
I have been using this phone for more than a month and I can definitely say that I can do all that things very fluently and without a lag. I don't think about buying a flagship phone because the apps will be the same.
(It is ok for those playing games, this not a phone for you, but this not a senior phone. This is a phone and android version for daily use)

Dear YasiR Siddiqui you did a very good job. People will appreciate as the devices would be sold frequently. You are a pioneer in Android Go ecosystem. Keep going. Thank you for your precious work.

Thank you for your consideration , this device was good but now Xiaomi released Redmi 7A (pine) and it's better then Redmi go i don't think any good developers will buy Redmi Go so RiP Development but GSI exist Users can use GSI for now if they are bored with stock rom or want something different.

Excuse me, i have bugs to report regarding about this TWRP version that you guys have made.
These bugs are kind of serious, and hopefully you guys are still willing to update the recovery.
The current version of my ROM is V10.2.14.0, rooted with Magisk.
Bugs:
1. MTP doesn't work.
2. Backup option doesn't work.
3. The recovery keeps on saying that it couldn't mount storage and /data (Invalid argument)
And yes, i already applied the decrypt.zip.
Please fix these issues for this recovery, so users not only you, not only me, but also all the Redmi Go users will have a better experience about this recovery, thanks! We really appreciate all of your efforts for this recovery.
Please make an update for us regarding about this fix, we will gladly appreciate it.

Are you using the same stock ROM version just like me?
I installed the recovery through fastboot, and i have no idea why i can't do all of this.
I was stuck with "Encryption unsuccessful" when i attempt to fix the /data partition

Exactly, i did change the format of /data partition into f2fs, then back to ext4, and the system couldn't boot up because it says "Encryption unsuccessful", i even tried to just format /data through TWRP and it still doesn't work.

next try to flash that decryption.zip?
Do i have to do this for just 1 time? And then the error will be gone for good?
UPDATE: Thanks! It finally worked! I installed the decrypt.zip AFTER formatting the /data partition, and now the phone was able to boot up again! Thanks :>
UPDATE 2: Backup option still buggy, i used the perf.zip and it caused my device to get stuck in the logo screen, i used my latest backup but even that never helped me, i had no choice but to go back to stock again.
UPDATE 3: Only the /data backup was useful after flashing the stock ROM, the rest, especially system/systemimage and vendor/vendorimage are all borked.

Not really, the Backup option is still kind of half-baked for me, and i've already done like 5 or more times of having my /data deleted and flashing stock ROM through fastboot to try it again, the recovery gave me an error last time when i used "Restore" feature, the error was "No OS installed! Do you wish to continue?" After proceeding, the phone is stuck at logo, the recovery also seems to show incorrect partition sizes for /system and /vendor after using the Restore option [/system = (174758399375 MB)] and the only thing i managed to use was my /data backup after flashing back to stock ROM.
Please note that i am using the latest global stock ROM (V10.2.14.0.OCLMIXM)
