Yep. Pretty completely.does this void the warranty in anyway tho?
First of all thank you and toast for your work. I did it using the Goo Manager and it downloaded the TWRP and installed then I used the Reboot in Recovery from the same menu but I get into the bootloader screen and no TWRP ever show after selecting Recovery. And there it is, version 2.1.6 is live which fixes the /misc issue.
Also we are now live for installing recovery with Goo Manager, this is far and away the easiest/fastest way to install/update TWRP. Details on our website.
Thanks again to toastcfh for his work on this without even having the device, please find a post by him (try post 2) and thank him, and please consider a donation for him to get the phone.![]()

You definitely gave Goo Manager su perms? Can you try again? What happens if you manually power off, then power on with vol dn and go to recovery?I had the same issue
You do know that it took over a year for someone to figure out how to get s-off on hboot 1.5. Just saying you might be waiting for awhile.ill just wait till s-off method comes out
especially when no roms arent even out yet
It goes to the bootloader and this time it doesn't show Recovery in the choices. You definitely gave Goo Manager su perms? Can you try again? What happens if you manually power off, then power on with vol dn and go to recovery?
Well, my issue is I can't get su to work. I've rooted two phones, my og evo and my 3D. Both times everything was done in the root process. I did the HTVDev unlock and spent most of today trying to figure out how to install su binary and su. Should I install superuser or SuperSU?You definitely gave Goo Manager su perms? Dev unlock isnt root. You need to root the phone before you isntall the recovery. Use the root method in the Dev section. it works flawlessly if you follow the directions.Well, my issue is I can't get su to work. I've rooted two phones, my og evo and my 3D. OK, that explains it. Goo manager (obviously) needs su permission to do it's thing...Well, my issue is I can't get su to work. I've rooted two phones, my og evo and my 3D.
