Finally after about an hour, the restore returned a "successful" message. Rebooting the phone simply left me hanging on the splash screen. Something went wrong/bad somewhere. Ended up starting from scratch and reflashed my daily rom. Will update to the newer version to TWRP and write it off as a corrupt backup I guess.

Hey Captain, any chance you can re-do 2.6.3 with that bigger font size, or different font (I'm not sure which it was) like you did for 2.5.0, or tell me what you changed? I tried just pulling the /res stuff, but that didn't seem to be it.

I built that when it first came out.

And I didn't change anything.

EDIT: See 3 posts down for link to thread where these will be posted.

So I was hoping 2.6.3 would be different from issues I've had with other newer versions since 2.3.1, but I'm still having issues when trying to mount to the external sd card while in recovery. Does anyone else have this issue? I didn't find anyone else complaining about it, so what am I doing wrong? I can only mount the internal card no matter what I do. I always have to end up going back to 2.3.1 if I want to mount external while in recovery.

I have zero issues mounting my external card. Have you tried mounting it in Windows and fixing any errors?

UPDATE: You can try the latest one I built, but I doubt it'll make a difference (I assume you already tried it?). I'll be posting those versions here, going forward: http://android.aokforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=2467#p2467

Sorry I wasn't very clear. While in recovery I'm trying to view the external sd card via usb and windows, but it only allows me to view the internal card. If I select to mount and view the external card it still opens the internal.

How are you selecting the External Card? In the Mount menu, you have to press where it says "Internal SD Card", and choose "External SD Card". Then when you press the "Mount" button, it'll mount the External storage.

I'll install it again and try, but if I'm following you, I am removing the "X" from in front of "Internal SD Card" and leaving the "X" in front of the "External SD Card" and it only mounts and shows Internal when I'm connected via USB to view in Windows.

No, you're not following. Press underneath where the check boxes are where it says "Internal SD Card" and tells you the available space. That's how you select which card mounts to the computer.

Wow.. don't I look like the noob. I never realized that was a button. Can we get that thing outlined in blue like the others? JK, I guess I should have asked before. Thanks for the insight and sorry to everyone else for clutter the thread with nonsense.
