You really save my G Pad, it works!!! So happy!

Now I can test how good is CM11 on our device.

BTW the solution should be put under the faqs of this thread.

Done! and thanks

version 2.6.3.3 in op

sorry it took me so long
I've been way too busy
No, thank you. I get the busy part, I was on vacation when one of the devices I build tools and recovery for went from ICS to JB, I had PM's and posts it took me days to go through.

New version works great. Slider too :)

I have 2.6.3.1. Is it advisable to update to this?

I ask because on my HTC EVO 4G LTE, updating to the latest TWRP sometimes wasn't a good idea based on bugs and such.

I flashed 2.7 via flashify and 3 bad things have happened. The screen size is now off in recovery, the flash wiped my data as if I did a clean install of a rom, and zips will no longer flash....

just wait for 2.7.0.0 till I post it (which will be pretty soon);)
the ones on the twrp site are borked (which is why I pulled that link from the op)

glad it worked out for ya but that is wierd cause I still have that secure booting error text
Yeah, just double checked and it's gone. I'm sure you've been tinkering getting this to work. Try flashing 2.6.3 again then/reboot recovery/then your new zip/reboot recovery right from twrp... Which is essentially what I did exactly. Now I'm curious, I hope I'm still lokified. I'll try to actually flash something soon.

Still a little new to this LG stuff so I have a question. I just got the tablet and ive already rooted it. Can i just grab the 2.7 TWRP file and flash it with flashify? Theres like 6 links in the OP and the 3 versions
V50010a

V50010c

V50010e

What are these? I have version "a". Do I need to flash one of these first? Do I need to use a special version of TWRP if im on an AOSP rom? Or can I just use the 2.7.0.0 TWRP file with flashify?

you need to install the V50010a version first just follow the instructions at the bottom of the OP
then flash 2.7.0.0

although some people use flashify, I recommend against it cause loki flash has some checks to make sure your flashing the right version to the right device

Ok, to clear this up a bit more, system restart doesn't show the warning message, but boot to recovery and the root message is there.

Flashed 2.7.0.0, was successful and the tablet rebooted ok. Not tried to go into the new recovery yet though.

Edit: going to recovery worked fine. The time was right, too! Worth the flash just for that.

Flashed just fine... No loki issues. Also noticed the insecure boot text that usually appears on the splash screen is gone too... Nice! Thank you
