Pardon my assumed ignorance but I do not see instructions for just an ADB install of the TWRP without the loki install.
that is because there is not any please just use the script I linked to in the OP

the reason is is that you need to push the aboot, img from v50010a for loki to work and I am not going to post instructions on how to do that. it is not the safest way to do things and we need loki because our bootloader is locked. if you really need to do it manually you can find all the commands in that script. I just want to see people pushing the wrong .img to the wrong partition possibly ending up with a hard brick.

Please just use the script from this thread scroll down to step 3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2698267

Hi, I have V50010a just successfully rooted with @dalingrin script. ADB is working fine.
I downloaded twrp.lok for V50010a and loki-master.zip which I extracted to my PC having loki-master folder and within bin folder and bunch of files.
Following instructions I copied twrp.lok file into bin folder, where now are two files ready to be adb pushed to the G Pad:
loki_tool
twrp.lok
Now comes the part I got stucked. Instruction says:
Code:
adb push loki_flash /data/local/tmp/loki_flash
but there is no loki_flash file to be pushed to the device. Is it error in instruction and the loki_tool file from bin folder should be adb pushed to the tablet?
Or the loki I downloaded from your link is incorrect.

Please help me understand it. This loki thing is new to me as I've been using only nexus devices so far where I was just unlocking bootloader and happy fastboot flash all *,img files I wanted. Thanks!

Out of knowledge and understanding sake, what does this command do:
Code:
chmod 777 loki_flash

well it looks like loki has been updated ill have to rewrite the instructions
chmod 777 loki_flash basically just changes permissions

Please update instructions for 4.2.2 flashing TWRP. Much appreciated!
I want to be 100% sure I understand what I do and process exactly as per instructions.
The fact that bootloader is locked and I can't just fastboot flash factory images scares me.

4.2.2 TWRP Instructions update

instructions updated
Success! Thanks a million.
Attached screen from cmd. Maybe somebody will find it useful.

So now I have V50010a Updated TWRP 2.6.3.1 recovery from OP. Being still on 4.2.2 can I use it to flash the Flashable zip 2.7.0.0 with USB OTG from OP?
I am going to flash SlimKat soon, but for a day or two I want to play with LG stock ROM to out of curiosity.

Edit, now I'm going to TapTalk to give much deserved thanks. I hate the 8 thanks limit.

i'm on 4.4.2 and followed the instruction but it says aboot version doesn't match..
I'm also on 4.4.2 and --> "Loki aboot version does not match device."
Tried to flash via flashify app but didn't work and now i have a no recovery :/

Can someone point me to a guide for 4.4.2?

I can't click on the link on the OP.

"If you don't have twrp on your device already
use the script from this thread scroll down to step 3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2698267
then flash the above build in twrp"

I completely misunderstood your issue. Go here and grab the 4.4 flashable 2.7.1 in the op. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706750

I finally got it working..
I used "STEP 3" and got loki working but no TWRP.
Then i used flashify app and flashed the img inside the "4.4.2-v500-TWRP_2.7.0.1-recovery.zip"

:D Thanks
