How the hell do I install this 4.4.2-v500-TWRP_2.7.1.0-recovery on Stock V50020d?

I just need to know how to install the above TWRP zip since i cant get in to recovery. I get error: "secure booting error! cause device unlock! so boot success."

Dying to install a custom rom becuase LG stock is slow and too distracting with nonsense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. jay

For install the twrp on my gpad with last update from LG v50020d it is possible with twrp 2,7,1,0? I don't see de bat file like in video tutorials!!!

But im new in this stuf!! So, i already have root, so i just have to plug in tablet to pc and execute the bat file? Is that?
Than i boot in recovery and flash the twrp2.7.1.0 from there?? Is this?

Is not needed to edit a file like a read somewhere....on the devices had a v50020d from OTA?

dunno why, but im getting the same error

already run the script from the post (after editing it for 50020d) but everytime i try to reboot recovery I got the "secure booting error! cause device unlock! so boot success."

This tablet is the hardest thing to get get twrp installed I think I have it installed but recovery wont boot im rooted on stock rom but this crap just doesnt work been at this for like 9 hours adb loki twrp cwm philz nothing works dont know what im doing wrong gonna sell this piece of trash soon

Please read, like I said just 3 posts before the message ( secure booting error.......) is Ok. You have to wait a little bit for the tablet to boot into recovery the first time.

The tool to flash recovery (after root) V50020_aboot_twrp_v2.zip worked when I plugged into usb 2.0 port; usb 3.0 port didn't work...however it did work for rooting. An easy alternate way to get recovery (after root) is using the Flashify app - use ES fileexplorer to browse to the download location, click on the twrp zip and it will ask to open with Flashify : ).

Ok finally i did with chaging the bane from v500b to v500d on aroot I believe took 1 minute to do I cant believe I was at tgis for 9 hours then I go out for awhile come back and ban 2 minutes Im done thank you v

unplug your usb then
boot into recovery

then flash 4.4.2-v500-TWRP_2.7.0.1-recovery.zip
in twrp

that will fix your dimming issue

that secure booting error is normal

Unfortunately this doesnt work for me.
No matter which recovery I flash, the screen dim issue stays

Problem solved. Flashed 4.2.2 Base again and the TWRP. Works :cyclops:

Need a way to do this with a mac....

No problem:

"Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify"

All day I try to install TWRP 2.7.1.0 to my tablet and all I get was this error at boot time.
I know there is a zip file in this forum with the same build of TWRP to install from within TWRP (smaler build) witch I ended doing after a day of trying.
The reason for witch I was trying to install this file (img file) instead the zip was the boot logo of TWRP, on youtube I saw another boot logo for TWRP and I was under impression was the new boot logo in img file instead the old logo from zip file with 2.7.1.0 build from here.
another reason was the dim screen at boot time in CM11. Again I see same comments on web in witch this bug is related to TWRP not to CM11, and I hoped to solve this also.

I was trying the dd method, the TWRP manager method with the same results, same error.

Lucky for us (lg owners) for the back to stock routine with lg tool, and the intial backups for may previously install (CM11 and 4.4.2 stock) on SD card from the TWRP 2.7.1.0 (zip file from here).

so anybody have a solution for theis error, I was unable to find one on this forum and the boot logo is different from this TWRP boot image, or I was wrong about this.
