first i want to thanks Phil3759 for his great PhilZ Recovery
and xRlPx who ported it to our P8000 , he told me that i can release it for all ,
because he has not much time and cant support it.

So here it is .

Notice: xRlPx Phil3759 or me do not support this thread. its only for sharing
-xRlPx and me tested it for a few days. and its working good.
-Touch is not working because we need a custom kernel for that. ( WORKS NOW)
-wipe cache works , notice : it takes up to 4-5 minutes.

How to install:
as normal, like cwm or Stock rom.
with the SP flashtool and scatter.txt

or extract the recovery.img out of the zip and
use an app called flashify to flash it : here
(must have root for this option)

EDIT: will try to flash the IMG using flashify app..

Edit2: Worked with flashify, haven´t tried it though, at least my cwm backup is showing...

first issue, no backup to SdCard1 "unable to start backup path"

Backup to Sdcard (internal) worked

EDIT: backup to SDcard (external) fixed, just go to >Misc nandroid settings > ORS Backup target > storage/sdcard1

And now it worked

Tried to DL but file is empty...0.00b size. Could someone check if the link still works for them. I tried a few mirrors too...

thanks Bradco, it works on my laptop but for some reason not on my phone using the CM browser - maybe I should try chrome?

it does work in chrome...how weird?!

flashed the .img with flashify after extracting from the zip folder and seems to work nicely

edit 1: Y don't now why it dosen't work with the phone, y test with dolphin

Edit 2: worked with dolphin browser for me.

I have a question, witth this recovery can y flash rom custom, xposed radio or other app need a custom recovery ?

Works like a charm.. Everything is working great and the best part is that i can choose to data/media/0 or data/media

I tried to place it as 'clockworkmod/aromafm/aromafm.zip' in 'sdcard' folder, but receive error 'not found' in recovery.

It's just a bit nicer looking and nicer to use as you can "scroll" with the vol. up and down key rather than having to press one line at a time(if like me you have too much junk stored in the root of your sdcard) - I'm lazy at making folders lol

Got my P8000 yesterday and already rooted it using Super SU from the Play Store,
I will download and get this recovery loaded on tonight

Then I can start flashing
