I think flashing with qpst fixed your problem, try it.

Okay, I will get to it this weekend. Got to backup stuffs before I begin tinkering again. Just want to make sure, I should lock the bootloader, then use QFIL to flash the same ROM right? By doing that I won't get this screen at boot anymore?

Not sure, but this might be a boot menu screen that appear when BL is unlocked.
If so, there is nothing wrong with it, it might also enable you to choose if you want to boot to system, recovery, bootloader...

At least it was like that with Z2 pro.

Yes this screen is juste a warning about unlocking risk of the bootloader.
I have the same, no worry about this.
If you relock it must disapear but you have no more root , twrp or fastboot flash

Thank you all for the pointer. I managed to solve the problem I set out to do, but also found a little caveat.

So I used "fastboot flashing lock" to lock the bootloader, then put the phone to EDL mode (note for myself: both volume buttons down and then hold power button) and finally used QFIL to flash it using the L78051_ROW_SECURE_USER_Q00745.01_P_ROW_11.0.405_ST_191210_qpst.zip ROM from lolinet.

It worked perfectly. I tried rebooting normally and the "bootloader unlocked" was gone. I believe this will also allow me to receive OTA updates in the future.

The thing is, I dun goofed and forgot Google Authenticator was getting wiped along with everything else when I locked the bootloader, and it was responsible for 2FA for all services I use. I do have a Titanium Backup backup I made from before, but with the bootloader locked I don't think I can root the phone for Titanium Backup to work. So my next question is: Is it possible to root the Z6 Pro without unlocking bootloader?

Don't know where you're from but can you translate "I dun goofed" and 2FA for me?

To your point. No root without unlocked BL. Now I wasn't aware of that google authentificator thing. Can you not even choose to restore backups from a different phone?

I use CN rom, so no luxury to use google backup for me. Zui cloud actually does an ok job.

Sorry, what I meant was that I messed up. 2FA is 2-factor authentication, when I sign into Github for example, aside from the username/password I would have to supply a one time code that the Google Authenticator app generates. Without it I would not be able to access whatever services I enabled 2FA.

Thanks for confirming that unlocked bootloader is required for root. In that case, I figure I will just unlock the bootloader again since I now know that it's possible to relock bootloader and have a working phone without that warning screen at boot, and I need the Google Authenticator app with previous settings back. Again thanks for all the help!

Hi sorry for asking this here but I can't find any thread or forum for it: is there a recovery for plain Lenovo Z6 version (not pro, not lite)? Thanks

Fortunately, I am here, and the answer is yes.

I'll upload later today the files that you can use to install TWRP directly. There's a bit of Chinese, but it still worked on my Lenovo Z6.

Is there any roms or news about this cellphone?

I'm not finding anything in XDA only some dead threads and posts...

No links or tutorials...

Yeah XDA is not active as it use to be. But to your question, lenovo has done a decent job with CN rom based on Android Q.
And there should be custom roms fairly soon.

Not sure your question belongs to a thread about TWRP though...

    DISCLAIMER
As usual, you do anything described in this post at your own risk. No one but you is responsible for any data loss, bricking or damage of your device.

    INSTALLATION:
    Pre-Requirements

ADB means Android Debug Bridge, and it is software that you should always do have installed on your PC.

    Pre-Requisite 1
Make sure that you have the drivers for your phone installed on your PC.
If not, you can download and install them from here

    Pre-Requisite 2
You must also install: Minimal ADB & Fastboot, you can download the software
    from here

    Pre-Requisite 3
Your device needs this with unlocked bootloader

    Pre-Requisite 4
Make sure you have enabled 'USB Debugging' and OEM Unlocking on your device
Settings -> Advanced settings -> Developer Options

PAY ATTENTION: If you do not see the Developer Options menu you need to do this:
Settings -> Device Info -> tap 6 or 7 times on the 'ZUI version' entry
A pop-up should appear, telling you 'now you are a developer'

    And now, how to install:
1.Reboot phone to Fastboot mode (via adb -type adb reboot bootloader)
2.Download patched vbmeta and TWRP recovery
3.Extract it to folder with minimal adb and fastboot
4.Open cmd in this folder and type fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
    5.Then type fastboot reboot bootloader
    6.Type fastboot flash recovery twrp_3.3.1_decrypt_works_by_alexeei.img
7.Press volume - and select Reboot recovery, then press power button
    8.Enjoy

    What worked:
All functions (may be ;) if not, please say). Also TWRP now see exFAT microsd.

Thanks wzsx150 for it's TWRP for Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, some decrypt stuff taken from it.

Hello, I recently went through the whole process of unlocking bootloader, installing TWRP recovery and flashing ROM, and I am at version 11.0.350 ST ROW currently.
The ROM works fine, but now at every boot I am greeted by the "The boot loader is unlocked and software integrity cannot be guaranteed. <snip> Press power button to pause boot/continue" notice.
According to google, it's apparently a result of the bootloader unlocking process.
I tried to lock the bootloader again using "fastboot flashing lock", but then the phone stopped booting normally. It got stuck at the boot logo (which I believe means bricked?).
It wouldn't work until I unlocked bootloader and reflash the ROM.

So what I want to ask is, is it possible at this time to restore the bootloader to stock to avoid that "boot loader unlocked" notice and possibly become eligible for warranty again?

Do you try flash qfil rom after lock bootloader?
