[RECOVERY]TWRP Build for Huawei Watch - tester needed

Hi guys, i'm trying to build the twrp for the huawei watch but since i havent the device i need you for testing.

You need to unlock your bootloader in order to try it.

Code:

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot recovery.img

The commands above don't flash the recovery so after a reboot you'll have again the stock one.

Nope...just hung on the bootloader screen.

thanks... i would like some log. Can you adb shell and take it?

So, it looks like it does reboot into recovery, it just never produces a GUI. The bootloader screen remains. Was not able to pull a log from that location, either while booted into recovery or after rebooting into the system.

I was able to see the file structure in an adb shell while booted into recovery, so it booted.

I wouldn't be able to test right now but I wonder if its the unable to init fb0 error that I received.

Guys pls, i need the log and also the dmsg output.

The log might be in /cache folder or /tmp like i told some post ago.

To capture the dmsg in terminal:

Code:

dmesg > log.txt

and then, in the pc

Code:

adb pull /log.txt

Thanks and remember that i don't own this watch so without your help i can't get it working.

Sorry about not cutting the repeats, but it looks like it is looping and the UI is failing to start.

Edit:. Did some GoogleFu. Maybe try BGRA_8888 instead of RGBX_8888 for TARGET_RECOVERY_PIXEL_FORMAT

Edit 2: Did some more poking around. I think you have to use 320 x 320 and let TWRP scale. Not positive, though.

Sorry about not cutting the repeats, but it looks like it is looping and the UI is failing to start.

Edit:. Did some GoogleFu. Maybe try BGRA_8888 instead of RGBX_8888 for TARGET_RECOVERY_PIXEL_FORMAT

Edit 2: Did some more poking around. I think you have to use 320 x 320 and let TWRP scale. Not positive, though.

Are you on? I can build two test recovery in couple of minutes if you can test them.

Now, skin1980, just how confident are you in the "back to stock" images that you posted? I noticed that the boot and recovery ones are a lot bigger than their replacements. Are they just uncompressed with all the padding for the whole partition? Does Google post factory images somewhere?
