It works for me. Do you know if there is a custom rom for SM-J510FN or any other that will work with this model? I'd like to install xposed on my phone but all I get is boot loop after flashing xposed. They say it happens on samsung phones with stock rom but I didn't find any custom roms for my model.

I'm downloading the SM-J510FNXXU1APG9 firmware, will try to make a deodex rom. Are you interested in working together? :)

How would you install this using heimdall? I'm using Linux so I can't use odin.

I install TWRP without problems but when entering the recovery mode it reinstalls the original recovery of Samsung. :(
SM-J510FN with MM6.01 Odin with auto reboot disabled.

Try to untick "auto reboot" in Odin when you flash TWRP. When flash is complete, turn off the phone and reboot in recovery and "swipe to allow modifications".

I flash TWRP with auto reboot uncheked. After " Pass! " I remove the battery.
When I go to recovery mode appears in the screen "updating android......... " and then the original recovery back again :(

solved
You need to deactivate the remote control in the Samsung account.

Enable OEM Unlock in Developer options and also remove all Google accounts before proceeding to flash using ODIN. Otherwise your device will be stuck in boot loop (with Samsung boot screen).

Sent from my SM-J510GN using XDA-Developers mobile app
