Hi! I have a bricked Kindle Fire HDX 7" model # C9R6QM. I really don't know what FW version it has. It boots to a screen with the Kindle Fire logo and a menu for rebooting the device or resetting to factory settings. No option does any good and always end up in the same screen.
I followed the instructions using MiFlash. I put the device in the correct mode with a fastboot cable, and MiFlash detects it. When I click the Flash button (after setting the correct paths to the files), and this happens:

Code:

Wow - ancient thread. Look here instead:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/kin...-to-unbrick-kindle-fire-hdx-firmware-t3277197

Be aware traditional unbrick methods utilizing fastboot/factory cables won't work on this device. Without a functioning rom (and presumably locked bootloader) the device is toast if the underlying "firmware" is >3.2.6. Good luck.

Thank you! I'll just post the original message there just in case there was something new. I have as well a new question, so I'll add it there.

Thanks you!
