Highly recommended alternative to LineageOS - The ViperOS
Still based on LineageOS 14.1 but because of all tweaks included in rom it's working much better, highly recommended when you experience lag issue with LineageOS.

guys who can answer me with confidence on this point:

I need to install twrp backup from T560 to T561. Is this possible or I will not be able to do that?

Thanks in advance!

Updated links for both models, also for responce on previous question - t561 and t560 aren't much different so you should be able to backup from one device to another.

What solution would I use when I keep getting the error:

"Custom Binary(recovery) Blocked By FRP Lock"

I've read through most of this entire thread, and noticed a few others who asked the same question but never got a clear answer. Is that because no solution exists?

Thought I should clarify...

This is the error message that I see on the screen of the tablet when flashing with Odin. Odin displays "FAIL"

Odin can successfully flash a stock ROM that I downloaded from SamDB.org, but this does nothing to change the FRP status

"Solution" found

"Custom Binary(recovery) Blocked By FRP Lock"

...Is that because no solution exists?

To anyone experiencing the same frustration, here's what I ended up doing:

I went to my local Samsung factory authorized service centre, and they were unable to help me. They CAN unlock it for $65 CAD, but they require the original bill of sale with the original owner's name and the device's serial number.

I finally got it unlocked for half what UbreakIfix would have charged by using the service from UnlockJunky. Took 10 minutes from start to finish, without leaving my desk.

Now I can root and access all functions on the bootloader/Odin

I managed to get to TWRP on SM-T560 immediately after flashing with JOdin3/Mac. That is fine. But then after I boot to normal android and get to recovery - I see the original recovery, TWRP is gone. Any way to make TWRP persistent?
Thanks!

I followed the steps in the first video.
And used VenomOS instead LineageOS.

The final step was Keys Patch.
(I Don't need Root)

Rebooted and Works FINE at first try.

Awesome!!!

You flash this at your own risk. Please ensure you have the stock ROM to hand downloaded from SAMMOBILE in case of problems. This will trip the knox counter.

Instructions:
Put your device in DOWNLOAD mode.
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons.

You should now see TWRP recovery.

Qualcomm models SM-T377P/SM-T377R4 / SM-T560NU:

twrp_2.8.7.0_sm-t377p/sm-377r4
twrp_2.8.7.0_sm-t560nu
twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-t560nu

Spreadtrum models SM-T560 / SM-T561(Y/M):
twrp_2.8.7.0_sm-t560
twrp_2.8.7.0_sm-t561
twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-t560

To Root:
Flash the latest Supersu version below with TWRP:
DO NOT LET TWRP ROOT YOUR DEVICE IF IT ASKS. USE ONLY THE FILE BELOW:

https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133

NOTE: ON SOME ANDROID 5.1.1 DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.
