Hi all

I installed TWRP and root without problems, like a charm
To install it, I activated developer mode and unchecked OEM blocking (phone is from store, hate carriers)
To use sdcard as noted here: android dot stackexchange dot com / questions/160417/samsung-j5-use-sd-card-as-internal-memory

Root and everything ok

But the next day I took the phone and deacticated developer mode (thus activating OEM mode) thinking won't be necessary
P:( phone nearly briked, wife mad at me

Recovered with official firm (maybe here www dot sammobile dot com /firmwares/galaxy-j5/SM-J500FN/ ) and work again

But time loss and alarm on me...

Ok, now you know

Thanks
:)
My dear friend, it is never good to blame other people for your own mistakes ! I have never ever read that you have to change back to OEM mode !!!!!
Say to the people you are sorry for blaming them
:D

Every recovery I try to flash I get a "Recovery not seandroid enforcing" when I try to go into recovery. I then flash stock and goes back to stock recovery. Cannot get past that message? The last recovery I tried was Twrp3.0.2-1forJ500H-mm. Android running 6.0.1 on SM-J500F. Any ideas to past this problem?

That are normal messages, that all of us see. If you're having troubles with TWRP, I suggest you to use the official one from Vincent. It works in both Lollipop and Marshmallow. Don't uncheck OEM unlock in developers settings.
If you want Nougat roms based on Dyneteve's sources tree, you must downgrade to Lollipop first.
If you want Nougat roms based on Vincent's sources, you don't need to downgrade, as said before, as these works in Lollipop and Mm too.

I Have a SM-J500G

Does this work for SM-J500 G? Because I have tried flashing another TWRP custom recovery and the phone can't boot into the system and I have to reflash the official ROM. My phone is running 6.0.1.

Try with latest and Official TWRP for J5 from Vince2678, it works in lollipop and marshmallow, recently got Aroma support...Why you try with this outdated one?

In download mode says "Custom binary blocked by FAP Lock" when I flash it, any help
You must have disabled OEM unlock from developer options.
Now the only way is to flash LL firmware from Odin( Get it at Samfirmware)
Then follow all the steps again to flash Twrp.
And never ever disable OEM unlock.
