I copy magisk.zip using MTP. The MTP already enabled, but this require the internal storage is mountable. Adb push should works fine too.

But because you going to wipe rom, I strongly suggest you have usb OTG prepared for just in case. I was shocked yesterday when flashing vbmeta causing the internal storage to be 0 B. Reflashing back vbmeta from fastboot rom fix it though. But it was a shocking experience.
This happened to me earlier that's why I was confirming, I wasn't able to copy files and things got scary for that device. I will go and buy an otg 1st before starting all the stunts.

Recovery boot time is quite long and it always got this error, do you have a solution?

PS: after format data and reflash the rom booting to recovery got bit faster but those red error still there, I first used the chinese twrp to flash the rom then change to your twrp so that might be the problem for long recovery boot time

These red error messages could be the description what developer mentioned :

" We couldn't modify /system /vendor /product and /odm, caused by new type of partition, so if you want modify them, use magisk module instead."

Even I switch into orangefox recovery, errors are still there.
After switching to the one where Pixelexperience official website indicate, those red color messages are disappear.

So in short, I have to switch rom, correct?

I am sorry if this has been asked before

I flashed this recovery after unlocking the bootloader, did a clean install of pixel experience

But now I cannot flash any zip from internal memory as I cannot mount data

Will attempting to fix file system or formatting data from recovery factory reset my phone?? Or just delete the files in internal storage??

Thank you for your feedback
Can you please advise how to fix it?

Tried decrypt option and failed

Will the fix file system option factory reset the phone??

Also I flashed recovery to recovery partition... Will flashing it to boot solve the problem?

1. format data;
2. reboot to twrp;
3. wipe cache/dalvik cache
4. flashing rom file
5. rebooting to system and finish all setup
6. rebooting to twrp and enter the password you setup and checking whether it decrypt your data partition

If you don't want to key-in password when entering twrp; the steps you should do so
1. format data;
2. reboot to twrp;
3. wipe cache/dalvik cache
4. flashing rom file
5. flash DFE(https://zackptg5.com/downloads/Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip)
5. rebooting to system and finish all setup
6. rebooting to twrp and checking whether you need to key-in password(It should be no)

Good luck !

I flashed recovery from this thread

The one provided by pixel experience (3.4b with Chinese words) has the same issue..

I am now using 3.5 version from this thread and facing the same problem
i found a recovery that works, it has less function and the font is a bit ugly though but so far no bugs, gg: TWRP-3.5.1.A10-apollo-geoanto555 and choose the android files host one, it said A10 but works with A11 too

gg: TWRP-3.5.1.A10-apollo-geoanto555 this one works with A11 though it said A10 and it does decrypt so you don't have to going through tha pain to restore and copy your file back

PS: don't know why it became bold for the sentence above only

It decrypts only if you use password. If you use pattern it doesn't work. Fastboot booting (not flashing) every twrp out there works properly, though

Well, we talking about flashing and direct boot into recovery, if you don't want it then ok i guess
PS: it work for pattern too, what are you talking about? I have the recovery flashed

Xiaomi Mi 10T / 10T Pro
Hi guys, i face this issue. Could it be solved?
What have you done?

I face the same problem because I update full zip recovery from MIUI 12.0.4.0 (A10) to 12.1.1.0 (A11). I simply do backup and then flash the zip and flash magisk. Got this problem.

After I flash back original boot.img (extracted from recovery/fastboot rom) from fastboot, then it boot normally, but lose the root (and magisk). Someone told me that it is because I don't disable magisk module before flashing, causing the partition to be dirty when updating.

I don't know that yet, so I ended up flashing fastboot rom A10 (still can't boot) and factory reset data to clear all the dirty partition. In your case, you probably stucked also. You can only flash original boot.img to boot normally. Backup your data as needed, then do a factory reset (probably have to reset from original recovery) to clear all the partition. Then you can try to boot TWRP and root again using magisk, and then restore your data as needed.

1.MTP not working
2.rom flashing automatically reboot to recovery got boot loop
device : Mi10t Pro 5g
MTP is working as long as your partition is not stuck just like above. It seems you have to wipe data after flashing any ROM, as the remnant from previous ROM will get it to bootloop.

We couldn't modify /system /vendor /product and /odm, caused by new type of partition, so if you want modify them, use magisk module instead.

    Install guide:
    To boot (Reccomended):
    Code:
    fastboot boot <twrp.img>

    To recovery (Not Reccomended):
    Code:
    fastboot flash recovery <twrp.img>

How can I pass file to device, if mtp not work s?
You can use adb command, to push them.
    Code:
    adb push C:\<file>.zip /sdcard

Where are the files, which i copied with mtp?
Maybe you can find them in /data/media

Can i flash twrp in recovery partition?
Yes, you can flash since 3.5.0_10-beta 1. I provided prevent-twrp-replace (to keep twrp after reboot) and stock-fingerprint (for ota update).

My brother installed the newest 3.5.0 beta on his mi 10t pro but the system Partition doesn't show up. Flashing the newest xiaomi EU fails. (Unable to mount/unable to open block device)

    Any ideas ?

Edit: he managed to boot the rom after a few attempts. Seems like it was a recovery bootloop. But still weird, that the system Partition does not show up in twrp
It's because google introduced dynamic partitioning a while ago. And TWRP just added support for it in 3.5 - basically super is a "master partition" containing system, vendor, and bunch of other partitions, and instructions on where is what. Without supported software such as magisk you can't really see those partitions. TWRP just added that few days ago, so expect it to work after a while...
    4
For those who are trying to flash xiaomi.eu roms, here is what I did using this twrp:
    (I flashed this twrp)

**i'm from global rom mi 10t (apollo)
**Weekly eu rom is what I installed
**Since I cannot format the system, I tried to dirty flashed the rom.

    1. Format data only (advance format)
    2. Flash rom zip file and wait until it's done.
*You will notice that after flashing, if you will reboot into system, you will be stucked in bootlooping into twrp.
*In twrp, go to "mount", you will also notice that you cannot mount data and system.
    Next step...
    3. Format data (not in advance format) and wait until it's successful
    4. Go back to "mount" and you will notice now that data was already mounted.
    5. Mount system and reboot. First boot will take at least 5 minutes to load.

*Data decryption is working when you successfully flashed the eu rom.

This worked for me like a charm. Hope this helps.
