This will give you a new recovery. Just flashing SuperSU will not give you root per se. You could use this to flash a ROM which has root enabled or use Kanga root tool to get you root. Yeah.. but isnt that possible?.. rooted a GTab 3 by flashing recovery in Odin and then flashing SuperSU zip in recovery?.. shouldnt that work?.. on 4.3?.. worth a try?This will give you a new recovery. Did you rename directory name of your backup? If yes, rename it back to previous name.Restore Backup does not work !!
I have made an Backup (2.8Gb), and ocne i try to restore it it says after 2min : MSD5 Chesum failed

i did not rename the directory name of my backup. It just do not work and i tryed it twice. Allways same mesage :MD5 Checksum failed.
In an spanish Forum called HTCMANIA, some more have same problem, so it just do not work
