No phone except over bluetooth

whoops sorry, what you were seeing was actually stock recovery, but yes what you are wanting to do is flash cwm as your recovery.
I have as you know, unlocked, rooted and installed CWM. My phone no longer works as a phone unless connected to bluetooth. I am really not sure where to go and sure could use some guidance. I am in the process of doing a hard reset, but all I get is the screen flashing on and off with the android character, He still is upright and the bar seems to be moving left to right, but any assistance appreciated.

Thanks again. I did a hard reset and somehow, the phone came back without erasing anything and the phone came back working well.

Let me know how to donate to you. You've earned it.

Thanks.

Updated to latest KitKat 4.4.4 (21.1.46en.EU) and can confirm that it does not solve SD cards (my UHS-1 Samsung) being read by recovery. Not that I expected it to solve it, but one can hope when one isn't a developer.

recovery would have its previous kernel still, if they pushed 4.4.4 kernel source i can do a quick build tomorrow

The 4.4.4 update won't install and my device is constantly rebooting into recovery trying to instal lthe update It currently does this:
Boots into recovery > asks to install an untrusted package > see an error for a split-second before boot into android (still 4.4.3) > repeat.

Help?

Tried flashing TWRP - Same problem

Edit: redownloaded same issue

Tried flashing TWRP - Only difference is i get an error while trying to install the retail update.zip

Edit: downloading update again atm
If you want to stop the loop just clear the cache (fastboot erase cache). That will wipe the OTA and prevent it constantly restarting to update.

To get OTA to work follow this thread. The stock firmware I've linked in that thread is for the XT1039, so it will apply to you too. None of your data will get wiped when you reflash system partition.

Thanks, I'm guessing it's because I removed the unlocked bootloader warning well I'll just stay on 4.4.3 cause my SD card works and not much need to update.
Hopefully I won't have the same issue when custom roms come.
