that looks pretty badass. I'll try it out when I get home. Twrp touch was pretty cool but not the most attractive UI.

Wow, this is simply amazing. Thank you so much!

Nothing else was affected by the change. Love the new resolution -- a lot easier to read, now.

If you have flash_image on your device, you don't need a zip - you can just use flash_image in a terminal emulator:

1) open terminal emulator;
2) type su
3) type flash_image recovery name-of-recovery.img

    but I can not load the image in fastboot mode

    Do you have fastboot in your computer? If no then this is your problem.

    Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19583168&postcount=1 and download the adb-fastboot.zip (end of the post).
    Extract the files in eg C:\root , reboot your phone in fastboot mode and connect it to your pc.Check with device manager that your pc recognize correct your phone (must say ADB Bootloader Interface).
    Open the cmd and type
    cd C:\root
    fastboot devices

    you must have a serial number (If not then you have to install the correct drivers.search xda)
    Then put the cwmr_touch_beta3_maguro.img in the C:\root folder (same as fastboot) and rename it to recovery.img
    Then type in cmd (take care to be in C:\root)
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

    Flash_image on the device..? Please explain, am also away from pc.
    Download the attachment, unzip it. If you have root, copy the binary to /system/bin. (If you don't have root, copy it to /data/local/tmp). Change permissions on it to 0755. Then type flash_image recovery path-to-recovery.img
