Thank you so much ! Been using this since a while and it's far ahead in terms of functionality from the other recoveries available. Hopefully we'll have newer ROMs to flash with OFRP since it makes the process so painless

I have had issues using this recovery each time I install a new ROM, I just get bootloops. Current install process is as follows:

1. Wipe Data and Cache
2. Install ROM of choice
3. Bootloop

Do I need to remove encryption? I presume the Rom is installed to the correct partition each time.

Majority of the custom roms (A11) aren't still supported by installing through recovery, they have their own recovery from which you should adb sideload. This, I assume, is a work that should be done by the rom developer to support flashing through custom recoveries (like orangefox), nothing much can be done by the devs of the recovery. I can be wrong here, please do correct me if i'm wrong here but this is what I feel.

I think you can Sideload from OrangeFox too.
And, I think you should Format data too.

This Seems an A/B Issue with Dynamic Partitions.

I have a question - if I want to flash a new ROM on this recovery and I don't want to lose my internal storage data, am I safe if I don't wipe the internal storage? I'm asking because on the Lineage Recovery everytime I wanted to install a new ROM, the "wipe data" option would wipe my internal storage, I think this should not be an issue with this recovery, but I'm asking just in case.
There are two ways, you can wipe data,
selecting data in wipe section won't erase your internal storage. (Do this if you're again flashing rom that was already flashed)
Format data will erase will erase your internal storage. (Do this if you want to change to another rom, since previous roms encryption must be removed)

Also in lineage recovery too, you don't need to wipe data if you're again flashing rom that was already flashed.
Change of rom only needs wiping data to remove encryption

Thank you so much for the explanation. So if, say, I want to flash an update of the current ROM or reflash it and I get a bootloop, I should be ok if I restore a /system and /data partition in recovery, and my internal storage won't be formatted?
And if I want to flash a different ROM, I can make an encrypted backup of my internal storage, then store it on some other HDD while installing the new ROM, then copy my internal storage backup back to the Nord afterwards, restore it on the new ROM and nothing will be lost?

For 1st question, Internal storage won't be formatted when you restore /system or /data parition, but I don't know whether it will help you in bootloop also. Internal Storage will be formatted only when you format data in twrp or orangefox or Wipe data in lineage recovery.

For 2nd question, How you're taking a encrypted storage backup?

I'm sorry, I checked it once again and it turns out I was wrong, you can't actually make an encrypted storage backup.

    Some glitches:
Changing splash (image, background color, etc) didn't work.
Notch hides clock/cpu and some misalignment in statusbar.
    Fixed!

What are the chances that this Nord recovery will work on a brand new just released Nord CE 5G?
