I have a question - if I want to flash a new ROM on this recovery and I don't want to lose my internal storage data, am I safe if I don't wipe the internal storage? I'm asking because on the Lineage Recovery everytime I wanted to install a new ROM, the "wipe data" option would wipe my internal storage, I think this should not be an issue with this recovery, but I'm asking just in case.

There are two ways, you can wipe data,
selecting data in wipe section won't erase your internal storage. (Do this if you're again flashing rom that was already flashed)
Format data will erase will erase your internal storage. (Do this if you want to change to another rom, since previous roms encryption must be removed)

Also in lineage recovery too, you don't need to wipe data if you're again flashing rom that was already flashed.
Change of rom only needs wiping data to remove encryption

Thank you so much for the explanation. So if, say, I want to flash an update of the current ROM or reflash it and I get a bootloop, I should be ok if I restore a /system and /data partition in recovery, and my internal storage won't be formatted?
And if I want to flash a different ROM, I can make an encrypted backup of my internal storage, then store it on some other HDD while installing the new ROM, then copy my internal storage backup back to the Nord afterwards, restore it on the new ROM and nothing will be lost?

For 1st question, Internal storage won't be formatted when you restore /system or /data parition, but I don't know whether it will help you in bootloop also. Internal Storage will be formatted only when you format data in twrp or orangefox or Wipe data in lineage recovery.

For 2nd question, How you're taking a encrypted storage backup?

I'm sorry, I checked it once again and it turns out I was wrong, you can't actually make an encrypted storage backup.

Hey can someone help me please. I'm super confused. I'm trying to install the latest stock version of Oxygen OS back onto my phone, after having a horrible experience with Pixel OS, simply trying to flash the rom gets me this
Captureone.PNG

and if I use ADB sideload I get this

Capture1.PNG

Any help or step by step guide would be massively appreciated, I'd rather my phone not be a brick! Pixel Experience has caused my wifi and data connection to no longer work so I can't get past the setup on my phone,

do i need attention i if would flash the recovery.img with A/B partitions?
I'm on stock stable oos rooted with no custom recovery.
ok, simply boot OrangeFox from recovery.img via fastboot and then the OrangeFox.zip. Easy and permanently now!

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot recovery.img

Boot to recovery and flash OrangeFox.zip

What must i set now in OrangeFox to survive an OxygenOS OTA?

What are the chances that this Nord recovery will work on a brand new just released Nord CE 5G?
