I have a few more questions about orangefox .
I also intalled the app from the apk file here . https://gitlab.com/OrangeFox/misc/appdev/updates/-/raw/master/app-release.apk
But i don't really see how to use it ?? (my phone is not in the list yet)
I also read somewhere there are extra modules you can add to orange fox , but I could not find a download link on the homepage ?
Last question , is there anything i can do to help you fixing orangefox for the redmi note 9T (cannong) ?
like sending logs or files ? remember I'm a noob .
PS : One last question, When i flashed a rom from orange fox, should i leave the umount /system checked or not ?

disablerForceencryption.zip files to the internal storage or SD card.
reflash TWRP & vbmeta.zip & Install disablerForceencryption.zip Disableforceencryption.zip

you need vbmeta.img for some tasks (mostly to disable verified boot). In some cases, TWRP will not install if Verified Boot is on.

extract orange fox & Vbmeta on your computer platform tools folder
reboot phone to bootloader
Open CMD in the Platform tools folder and send below code
fastboot devices
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img

Hi I am very bad English speak. My Problem Backup brick with error 255 after data Partition, before this,in system message in the list: no hang on system root, acces denied. Magisk 23.0 is correct installed and with rootchecker app ok.
i have original cannong rom with Android 11. Is that a Problem?
The Phone is fresh resetting after the Unlock and Orange Fox ;Magisk, vbmeta install procedere.
Or must i am only settings change, the settings are all unchanged after the Install, except language.

INSTALLATION
1. Download the OrangeFox and vbmeta zip to your device
2. Reboot to your existing OrangeFox (or other custom TWRP-based) Recovery
3. Install the OrangeFox zip as a normal zip installer
4. The device will automatically reboot into OrangeFox recovery after installation (allow this to happen)
5. Flash vbmeta
NOTES
You must flash vbmeta patched every time you install miui stock
