Hello @HerH2, I've PM'ed you. Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you please help me?
I did follow your posted instructions to flash/boot into recovery.

(update/edit)(2):

I am running Latest Stable Arch Linux x86_64 here. Apparently, there are some issues with our packaged android-tools, where fastboot and adb commands are included. Although I am not sure that these errors with those tools are related with the problems that I mentioned below, nevertheless these android-tools have some issues.

I noticed them when I was trying to flash a fastboot ROM for my device. It was the Global flavor and I got stuck in flashing the SUPER.IMG partition, always. Only by downgrading to a previous version of android-tools was I finally able to flash that fastboot ROM. (The purpose of that flashing of the fastboot ROM was to check and see if, after booting that ROM for the first time, (so as to recreate the "normal/operating file-system" from the device...), if, by then, I could get rid of those mounting errors that I mentioned).

And yes, after booting the first time and then rebooting again to your recovery, I wasn't greeted with those errors on your TWRP. But, mind you, after wiping data again, followed by a recovery reboot, with the purpose of flashing some other ROM (in this case latest xiaomi.eu ROM for Courbet, version 14.0.4, to be exact), after flashing (this xiaomi.eu ROM, as I was saying), the errors that I mentioned down, continued to appear. (And they did, immediately upon finishing the flashing, the mount errors came through). Yet, I was able to boot the flashed ROM.

So, I guess I still need your assistance/ideas.

Can you please comment, @HerH2 ? Thank you.

(update/edit):

Now I can boot into recovery (I think it was after I made a data wiping). Still I have lots of error messages stating "failed to mount {system_root, system_ext, product, vendor, odm}" ... partitions... (returning, 'No such device')

Previously:

But I am unable to boot recovery.

I get stuck in the TWRP 'splash' screen/logo.

What is happening?

Thank you.

    Introduction:

Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch driven user interface , no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

    Key Features:

Touchscreen driven with real buttons and drag-to-scroll
XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
Settings are saved to the sdcard and persist through reboots
Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
    Onscreen keyboard
    Easy selection of internal/external storage

In addition to the above new features, TWRP features a scripting engine that allows an app to send commands to the recovery for the recovery to perform during startup. We call this scripting engine OpenRecoveryScript. This engine will be put to use immediately in the GooManager app. GooManager will be able to install recoveries automatically for most supported devices. The app will also let you choose to install multiple zips from within Android, wipe, and run a backup.

We are looking for other talented developers, themers, and device maintainers if they are interested in helping with a free, open source project.
