Hi. Using the latest TWRP, I flashed an Android 12 GSI through normal TWRP IMG Installation. I've chosen to flash to Super (system system_ext vendor ...).

The installation failed, of course. But now the partition table is ruined for these Super partitions. I cannot install any ROM/GSI through TWRP/fastboot. It says partition does not exist.

Any help fixing the partition table?

A flash of an official rom with MI flash wouldn't fix everything?

Got it fixed by flashing stock super.img using TWRP. Thought it was something big.

As far as I understand the TWRP cant decrypt Android 12. So you can flash using sideload or SD card or USB-OTG. Else I have not tried but have heard that LOS recovery seems to be able to read partitions.

Yeah I've heard LOS can, I haven't tried it yet. But it's good to have a backup plan.

I can flash to partitions through fastboot. I just like TWRP.

just to better understand: if i'm on a custom rom, on a phone which never had miui 13, and flash latest available firmware, decryption will work?
