Nono, that is, I install the twrp but at the moment of restarting the phone this twrp is overwritten by the stock one
That is what Phil_Smith meant: in miui you cant get twrp to stay persistent, it will always get overwritten by stock recovery.
The only way is by flashing another rom on first boot of twrp (which also is the reason for which you usually install twrp), without booting in miui, so with the new rom twrp will stay persistent

Thank you so much for this, it works like a charm except when I tried to install stock or full NikGapps, I wasn't able to finish the installation, the error it gave me is due to insufficient memory which is inaccurate.
"(installation failed looks like storage space is full)"
Here is the logs attached.
Any help is appreciated.

I am using Havoc-OS-v4.8-20210808-courbet-Unofficial.zip this is a great rom as well. (here)

Me and some other user had problemi with Nikgapps, too. I would advice to use Flamegapps instead, at this stage of developement

What if you do not wish to flash any custom ROM.
Like someone like me, I prefer the stock ROM. Just wanna root the phone via magisk and be able to flash any kernel I wish to. Unlike my previous Xiaomi devices, this Mi 11 Lite 4G reverses to stock recovery. I have to use a pc to flash TWRP recovery again from the very beginning just to flash any kernel🥲 issa pain you know.😒

    Introduction:

Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch driven user interface , no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

    Key Features:

Touchscreen driven with real buttons and drag-to-scroll
XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
Settings are saved to the sdcard and persist through reboots
Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
    Onscreen keyboard
    Easy selection of internal/external storage

In addition to the above new features, TWRP features a scripting engine that allows an app to send commands to the recovery for the recovery to perform during startup. We call this scripting engine OpenRecoveryScript. This engine will be put to use immediately in the GooManager app. GooManager will be able to install recoveries automatically for most supported devices. The app will also let you choose to install multiple zips from within Android, wipe, and run a backup.

We are looking for other talented developers, themers, and device maintainers if they are interested in helping with a free, open source project.

Sorry to bother, but installing this way, twrp become overwritten by stock recovery after first boot of th ephone in stock rom.
How could i male it persistent?
Searched a bit, but found no solution :(

EDIT: sory now i see the post above mine is about same problem
Really nobody can answer such a simple issue??
After flashing twrp through fast boot reboot to recovery. Then again flash the twrp img file from the recovery now which you booted. After flashing reboot to recovery, this make twrp persistent if you are on custom rom.
