Just install cwm are restore the rom then install twrp and re backup

Repeat this for all your backups

SO, finally ! once my favorite recovery ( now it is AmonRA), might just become my fav again ! :D thanx for this awesome update. just one thing, if anyone has tried, does it properly backup ext partition ? and does it create ext partition with ext2/3/4/ ?? or just one of these ? (like CWM doesnt do this, but AmonRa does. also CWM cant backup ext. [the 5.0.2.7 version that is] )

it does backup the sd ext.. and im quite sure that by default the partition created its an ext2, then u have the choice to choose/upgrade to an ext3 or an ext4

edit: im totally wrong it does not create an ext2, just an ext3 or an ext4.

Perhaps, you are right.
This is not just for TWRP but follows every custom recovery and so does on the card's class.

Now whenever you partition your SD Card, you have an EXT2 partition and once you format the sd-ext, it might get automatically be converted to EXT3/4.

yes you can add and you don't need to ask me for that :)

hi Ron G,

thanx for great work for O1!
can you let me know if there are any sources for this recovery??

thanx! :D
recovery source
https://github.com/TeamWin/Team-Win-Recovery-Project

i only added this line end of BoardConfig of cm7 device folder
## twrp
DEVICE_RESOLUTION := 320x480
RECOVERY_GRAPHICS_USE_LINELENGTH := true

so we need someone to create a partition into a sd without a partition just to be sure.

I've noticed that if you switch the view using the middle button on the bottom, the text runs off the screen if the line is too long. Is it supposed to be like that?

This is latest TWRP build for LG P500 which have full touch support.
Great work!

Do you think it would be too hard to port this to Samsung's Galaxy mini? It uses same SOC Qualcomm MSM7227 and Adreno200 graphics as the P 500. The mini also has official CM7.2 if it helps

> Tested this today, for me works well, did I miss battery stats wipe? or it really doesnt exist? other than this.. I think it only needs a little more graphical fix, needs to be polished ;)

I'm surprised by how amazingly well this works. For a long time, I was afraid of replacing my AmonRa 3.0.6 because it was very stable, but now I'm glad I gave this TWRP a shot. I love, love, love being able to flash multiple zips at once without having to do them individually. The layout and interface also seems a lot more intuitive than CWM's touch version.

Good job!

@Ron G:

It's nice to see a new TWRP update again for our phones..-

I'll give you a ToDo list, hope you can do it:

1) Change kernel to ie. Franco, or DJnox.. It will reduce the size of the recovery since those kernels are stripped down in size compared to original cm kernel that twrp has...
Probably you'll have to modify the usb mounting code a little bit... Also it will turbo boost the recovery bakcup and restore process, aswell as rebooting and shutdown speeds

2) Now that it has terminal emulator it would be easy to restore CWM and AmonRa backups via the recovery script (script found in lastest amonra i believe)

3) When the original porter of TWRP was working on it he tried to make Multirom work in twrp but there were mouting issues that kept it from working fine, that was because of the design of TWRP at that moment, perhaps now it'll work ok, maybe you could ask Tassadar for permission to use his multirom sources, it should be easy to port too.

Thank you!

galaxy mini resolution is 240X320 which is unsupported by twrp now, however my friend resized images and i edited ui.xml for my 2nd phone LG-P350 to port twrp which i have same resolution like galaxy mini but still font are big and graphical look ugly so i able to make it full work on p350 then maybe this can help to port on galaxy mini ;)
