Hello. I found twrp 3.0.0 in another thread. But when i flash it i get bootloop. TWRP Vanishes when i flash the rom again... like i couldn't manage to make it work... Is it the same with this one? Am i doing something wrong? I have a z5 premium my old device...

TIA.
TWRP is not generic. You need a version tailored specifically to the phone that you are using. The link in the first post will provide you with TWRP 3.3.1-0 that is specifically developed for our Z5 Premium. I am using it now without difficulties. Go through the steps again to properly install it. Good luck!

Hi, I'm very new to this stuff and need some help if this is still active. I have an Xperia Z5 Premium E6653 and followed all the instructions to install TWRP. Everything seemed to install with no issues but when I try to boot into TWRP recovery mode it gets stuck on a black screen and nothing else happens. Have I done something obviously wrong?

Is your bootloader unlocked? If not, that is your problem. You're going to have to unlock it to use TWRP. See guides on the forum to unlock your phone, install TWRP, and root your phone. Good luck.

Hello, I just got around to flashing this on my Z5P. It's working pretty well. The only bug I noticed is CPU temperature always showing 0ºC, and believe me, I wasn't using my phone at such a freezing temperature haha.

Thank you so much, Joel16, you're giving this 5 year old phone a fresh breath of life.

It says 0 because we're using an octa core CPU and I have to choose the temp of one of the CPU's cores which doesn't make much sense so I decided not to show anything hence it displays 0.
