ping @AfiqAffandi
may I ask how do you get it managed to install the above ROM on your device ?

all Android 13 based GSI do not boot here on my SM-T510; all Adroid 12 based do !
I tried lineage-20.0-20230324-UNOFFICIAL-a64_bvN
From latest SM-T510 firmware (Odin) > latest Magendaz lineage 19.1 (Odin/TWRP) Wipe data then boot. > After that, flash latest lineage 20 a64 bgn/bvn from AndyYan (as system image) without wipe any partition using TWRP then boot.

Ps: If I'm not mistake, only A13 LineageOS and LeOS manage to boot on my device.

what translates to me:
1. flash last stock (5CWA1)
2. flash @Magendanz LOS 19 what includes TWRP
3. boot into TWRP
4. Wipe (???) Data
5. ??? reboot into TWRP again ??? (cause, cit.: "Wipe data then boot. > After ...")
6. install AndyYan LOS 20 image to system

my doing so far was (and was working for [1])
1. last stock (5CWA1)
2. flash Magendanz TWRP (only) via Odin
3. reboot into TWRP
4. install last multidisabler (I tried with/without)
5. format data
6. install GSI ROM to system (without additional reboot to TWRP)

=> ROM never runs further then the boot screen/logo o_O

my procedure is:

the main diff. seems to be:
reboot into TWRP after Data wipe/format before installing GSI Rom (???)
- I'm going to test it right now -

+++EDIT+++
so, currently tested with an additional boot reboot to TWRP and an format data after installing the ROM.

Hell, device stucks at/in the Logo !

[1]
and
AndyYan's Los 19.x, but not LOS 20.x

and please a photo of the top left corner when in download mode.
1. Factory reset and format data
2. Install Lineage 19.1
3. Wipe cache/dalvik and reboot system
4. Finish setup first
5. Reboot into TWRP
6. Install Lineage 20 image as system image
7. Reboot system

Note: After install LOS 19.1 and setup do not factory reset and format data.

I tried factory reset and format data after install LOS19.1 it won't boot LOS20.

This doesn't work for me. I have USB debugging enabled, downloaded the latest TWRP and flash it via Odin AP but it keeps failing, causing me to reflash stock firmware...

to get any help you should be more accurate what *exactly* didn't work.

P.S.
flashing lastest TWRP with Odin (v3.14.4) on Stock (5CWA1) works here on an SM-T510 without errors

Hi everyone. I need help.

I tried to flash this rom on OEM.
After unlocking the bootloader, I tried to flash with odin. it was a no go.
Then I tried to flash the TRWP recovery from this link
Odin Failed with error RQT_ClOSE!!
Now the tablet shows green screen with white triangle with message : "An error ha occured while updating the device software.... "
I tried using Smart Switch on PC but after download i got this message "This model does not support firmware upgrades and initialization"
I tried using Odin to flash latest OE firmware but after everything passes flash fails

I'm trying to nail the unsuccessful GSI 13 install via twrp after format data.

phhusson offered a script to let a stock recovery run fastboot (in download mode)

does anyone have a stock recovery ( T510XXU5CWA1) ???

OK, I've tried this multiple times now without success. :(

I just bought a refurb from Amazon UK and it turns out it's a T515XXS8BUC2 (I was expecting a T510), from CHO (Chile)! So I have successfully (though stressfully) managed to restore from various levels of bricked using Samfw.com_SM-T515_CHO_T515XXS8BUC2_fac.

I have successfully unlocked the bootloader (can confirm it is greyed out when in stock ROM, as already unlocked, and also shows as unlocked when entering download mode).

I have tried flashing both 'twrp-3.7.0_11-0-T510XXU5CWA1-20230330.tar.md5' and 'twrp-3.6.0_11-2-T510XXU5CUL1-20220218.tar.md5' to the AP, using Odin 3.14.1, with 'Auto Reboot' off. On success, I press Power + Volume down to 'cancel' and immediately press Power + Volume Up to enter the TWRP. However, after the boot logo, it immediately goes to the warning screen stating 'this tablet's bootloader is unlocked and its software integrity cannot be verified", from which it enters a boot loop and I can't get any further.

Thanks to the suggestion of waiting until the screen is off in the loop cycle, before pressing both volume buttons and jamming the USB in, I've been able to recover from here to reinstall the stock ROM.

I would love to upgrade to Android 11/12, and to be able to install a newer WebView for my kiosk use case.

Any tips on how to get TWRP actually installed on this device would be greatly appreciated as I'm stuck.

Unfortunately, you can't use TWRP for SM-T510 on the SM-T515. You could try this, but it's very old and I never had an SM-T515 to test it (which is why I eventually dropped support for that model).

Thanks for the clarification, if I were to successfully boot into that version could I update the TWRP version from there? Sorry if that’s a dumb question.

After @geiti94 and @ianmacd started the ball rolling for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series (Exynos 9820), it was really only a matter of time until we could do the same for the 2019 Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (Exynos 7904). The kernel source was released last May, allowing me to build a custom kernel with many of the problematic Knox security features disabled. What's posted below is a work in progress, but it should suffice to unblock efforts to build custom ROMs for this impressive tablet.

    Notes:
    • The current process requires you to reset to factory defaults to remove file-based encryption. Remember to backup your data!
    • Custom kernels are specific to OEM releases, and rely on the latest posted kernel source (T510XXU5CWA1).
    • This is unofficial and unsupported, so the usual caveats apply. Since we don't flash the bootloader, you should be able recover from any problems...but nothing is guaranteed.

    Not working:
    • Support for file-based encryption

    • Hold Power & Vol Up during restart to enter TWRP recovery
    • Tap Install->Install Image, select your image (.img) file, pick Recovery partition, and then swipe to install
    • Reboot to system

    What about rooting with Magisk?
These images are not supplied pre-rooted with Magisk, since it's against the terms of use laid out by Magisk's developer, John Wu. To root the TWRP image yourself, simply use Magisk Manager to Select and Patch a File. More details on this process are available from @ianmacd's topic for the Galaxy S10 series here.

Just a quick update: Samsung posted the T515XXS3ASK5 source last night, so I expect T510XXS2ASK5 to follow soon. When that happens, I'll update TWRP for both the SM-T510 and SM-T515.
