[RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP for Galaxy Note 10 (Exynos)

Hi, as the image clearly shows you haven’t even unlocked your bootloader yet so obviously you can’t flash anything till unlock it first. Own lock is on so you need to enable Dev options, enable usb debugging and oem unlock,then before getting into download mode where it ask you to continue or cancel there’s an option to press and hold Bol up for the 3 step of BL unlock. It’ll ask are you Sure and when you click on or whatever the menu says for okay. Your entire data will be wipe so take a backup. Your phone is a Qualcomm snapdragon device so confirm different as they probably are.

Get the TWRP official recovery that is available for snapdragon variants and is supported as it is official.

Maybe exynos but not the same chipset haven’t you noticed your device model number isn’t the same series I mean it is N970 for note ten, N975 for note10 plus, N976 for 10+ with G.

Yours is probably an exynos chipset that is the exynos version of a Qualcomm 7 series chipset.

Please look in the 420rom thread and you'll find that we have a fully working CTC9 TWRP and a working custom base ROM and add-on module for the 975F and 976B.

I have installed 1.2 version of 420rom magisk module. I'm on a stook rooted rom. But there isn't a TWRP version for SM-N976B CT9 base. So a cannot flash the custom base.

If you have the link of these TWRP worked version send me.

I can flash with odin last version of TWRP for my device but when I boot crash my camera.

Can ANYONE tell me if it's possible to root the sm-n975f with the latest android 10 firmware available? Looking at the Android 10 folder I see no sub-folder for a version of TWRP patched for Magisk. Only instructions I see for rooting are for Android 9=/

If you are on btb fw, you can use geiti's android 10 twrp patched with magisk.

Otherwise theres an ianmacd trwp for android 10 based on ctc fw. You can use that, either patch it with magisk or you can flash cruel kernel with magisk.

the answer was right above your post. if you took the trouble to read the op you wouldn't ask questions which have answers there but that is the issue you'll find 3 or 4 posts asking the same questions and the answer is in the op. everybody want it served on a tray, don't you realize the devs do this for free and still keep it updated though they must be working for ,money too. you just walk in ask a question then if you are told what i'm saying you'll say isn't the forum for questions thing is it isn't just you but many and that is a waste of space and the dev's time. they have a family too

Thanks, sorry, I searched a bunch of terms before i posted. Not sure how well XDA forum content works but it seems to have failed me. I'll be better. It's good to keep in mind that you may be interacting with somebody somebody with an issue like ADHD, who's grieving and just trying to distract him/her-self, etc. I, myself, do have ADHD. It makes me not so great at skimming for information. I tend to rely on search more than I guess neuro- normative people need to. Anyway, I appreciate your time, tolerance & devotion to keeping redundant questions to a minimum. If you think it best I'd be happy to remove my comments.

Edit: I think I just discounted that post because it's about the 5G model. Didn't imagine that would still apply because of the different radios.

P.S. There's this thing called Nemeses_Disabler zip dated Dec 2019 that's in the TWRP > Android 10 folder (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...recovery-twrp-galaxy-note-10-exynos-t3962219) linked in Dr. Ketan's root guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10+/how-to/guide-how-to-root-note-10-t3960031).

Do you think this would work for any A10 firmware - even firmware released after Dec 2019? Not sure if it's the kernel, itself, or a patch for the stock kernel. Don't worry about answering if you're not up to it. I'll search a bit more now that I have a useful term.

I have flashed TWRP on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (Exynos) an now my rom can not start, since i have deleted my internal memory. Can i flash the original rom again via Odin? It always come failed.

I think ianmacd's twrp patched with magisk and then flashing mukti disabler should work fine for android 10. Havent tried ctd fw though. Staying with ctc.

TWRP 3.3.1.0 didn't work for me with CTC9 (camera) do you have problems with your camera?
I'm currently on CTD1 without TWRP.
Where did you get @ianmacd TWRP for SM-N975F?

That is weird. Im on CTC9 with ianmcd twrp and cameras are working.

You can google infinityrom and he provided the link to ianmacd's twrp for CTC9.

Have you tried it on CTD1?
If so do you have any problems with the camera or other FCs?

The drill with it is:
Patch it with Magisk -> flash as AP with ODIN (uncheck autorestart) -> Immediately boot to TWRP after flashing (hold home+vol_up buttons) -> flash multidisabler -> nandroidbackup -> boot to system

I hope soon an update in one ui 2.1 when installing twrp produces an error in the camera and the s pen is constantly disconnected, for now it is better to have root without the twrp

I did data format in TWRP after flashing disabler, it boots to Samsung's Start Up Image with notification at the buttom saying "you and using an unofficial firmware" and it goes blank after that

Show's a blank screen after the image below.
Please help ??
