I've got it running on my Tab S8+, however my touch controls don't work either, nor does my keyboard cover. I've got it working using a USB mouse and keyboard. I have a couple of questions. In step 6, does the data wipe format the internal memory /data and /system partitions only, or /sdcard as well? If so is there a way to backup to microsd or PC through TWRP before doing this? Also, is it correct that I need to flash the Galaxy S22 kernel?

Yes will wipe data and internal sdcard not system or micro sd
And kernel is needed.
What is your model!

I've got the X806B (Tab S8+ 5G) I did have to wipe and lose some data on internal memory. Flashed the kernel. Can boot up my rooted firmware, can also boot TWRP, but still I can only navigate it with externally connected controls. However I can't seem to mount any external storage to backup to. Neither microSD nor anything connected through USB-OTG. I've tried formatting to FAT32, still no luck. Is there a size limit? I've tried both 128gb and 512gb microsd's, and a 256gb USB stick.

Better to make telegram to test the builds
I've been trying to make a telegram for the past few hours but the app refuses to accept my phone number. I don't know what the issue is, but until I can find a workaround, I'm not able to use telegram. I know it's a hassle, but could you post your test builds here whenever you get the chance? I'd love to be able to give them a try to see what works and what doesn't, but I'm physically unable to make a telegram or join the group.

I'm not able to use telegram where I live. Would it be possible for you to pm when you have a new test build?
If it's not on your local app store due to govt censorship, you can get directly from https://telegram.org/android

Once you have the app installed, if your local govt is forcing your ISP to block communication go to Settings > Data and Storage > Proxy Settings and add a MTProto proxy

Hostname: proxy.mtproto.co
Port: 443
Secret: 11112222333344445555666677778888

There are many more available, just search for "MTProto proxy server" on your favorite search engine.

Telegram is EXTREMELY censorship resistant. You'll eventually be able to get past the censorship.

EDIT - It looks like in later posts you say it doesn't work because your phone number is blocked. Google Voice and TextNow numbers can be used to verify Telegram, as well as landlines (you have to wait a couple of minutes for the SMS to timeout, and then it will call the landline).

Try my build if touch working!

Sorry, I didn't realize you had a new build, I will test it as soon as I have a chance.

So I have a question about the kernal patch. I was looking at the notes and it looks like it was made specifically for the kernal in build AVF5. However, I am running the latest update which is build AVG9. Is it normal for this to work? It has been about a day so far everything has been working properly. Maybe I was just lucky? :)

If kernel is the same version 5.10.81 or 43 the old one it will work depending on what is yours

So I either have the right kernel version or it only says that because I've got your patch applied...

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

    Code:

    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or your getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

Hello @afaneh92 . I happen to own a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 (Model X700, CSC: CHN) device. And, I forked your GitHub repository, applied some tweaks to the touch screen parameters, and tested the tweaks on my device. I believe that I have fixed the touch screen problem, at least for my device. My device's TWRP is fully working now. I used its touch screen to run the multidisabler, to flash the custom kernel, and to flash Magisk without any problems. Thank you for your brilliant works! And, I am happy to share with you and the community both the source code and binaries. I will attach the GitHub link of my release below. (Attachment 1/2) I will also attach the same binary here for the communities' convenience. (Attachment 2/2)

Note1: You need a custom permissive kernel to boot with R/W vendor.
Note2: If you got bootloop on Samsung logo, reboot to TWRP and wipe metadata from Advanced Wipe section
