[RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite (daisy) by TWRPBuilder

Ok now it´s getting funny:
- smashed my system and flashed back stock july via miflash
- forgot to install updates from android one
-> flashed mordified by mistake directly
-> it´s without gapps, so I had to install twrp for that
- booted up twrp and it didn´t gave the error "couldn´t decrypt" -> could read data directly
-> booted up without flashing back boot and booting the patched boot - just rebooted and violla I have a fully working twrp and wifi is working also

Perhaps xiaomi change the encryption beginning from august update - can someon please verify - perhaps the mistake has always been updating to august or september ota...

And only this twrp works

So to verify:
1.) Save everything and flash the original image via miflash
2.) don´t let it boot up. Directly go back to fastboot and flash the recovery linked above
Code: 
fastboot flash boot TWRP-3.2.3-daisy-1808.img
3). Type in
Code: 
fastboot reboot
and befor hitting enter, keep holding vol+, hit enter to reboot and don´t release vol+ until you see twrp logo
=> If twrp can read data directly everything works right and as expected (like in my case)

And if it´s not only random luck by me, I will create a new thread!

After setting a screenprotection, I twrp couldn´t read data anymore...

So modified /vendor/etc/fstab.qcom (search for forcencryption and change it to encryptable) and wiped data...

But...

Wifi problem is solved, as long as you keep using twrp as kernel.

To boot up with root, I patched twrp.img with magisk and booted patched_twrp via fastboot!
Then I could install magisk via magisk manager (direct install) and everything works great!

    How to install:
    You must have fastboot installed on your pc and then:
    Code: 
    adb reboot bootloader
fastboot boot recovery.img
    Then flash img from the recovery
    Notes:
    You have to format data and disable force encryption in order to access data partition:
    - Format data
    - Flash Magisk DFE or DisableForceEncryption zip, attached below.

    I sent a Mi A2 Lite to Ethan to get it ported officially. We'll be selling the Mi A2 Lite here in the USA soon...with phh-treble preinstalled and a 2-year warranty. We'll prob also sponsor them, phh-treble, opengapps and offer bug bounties & port bounties
