Great work since no other recovery for this device is still maintained.

Decryption doesn't work on China beta 13.0.5.1.45.DEV. Log attached, hope it's helpful.

Edit:
xda has some issue that blocked me from uploading log. Will try later.

I guess it's correct you are referring either Mi10T Lite or Redmi Note 9 Pro (gauguin).

I' ve searched for update 13.0.5.1.1.45.DEV and I can find it only for Mi10 (umi) and Mix4 (odin) dated July 8 or earlier.

I'm pretty sure I'm using gauguin, or to be exact gauguinpro (Chinese variant) because the recovery did boot on my device.

Here is the link to the current version I'm using.

Currently the latest China Beta is 13.0.5.1.56.DEV. I suggest testing with a newer version. Btw, can this recovery flash official MIUI, and flash ROMs larger than 4GB directly without workaround?

I'm running weekly 22.08.03 release downloaded from here, which should be 13.0.5.1.56.DEV.

After more than 200 installations, I guess the recovery is reasonably tested.
Also, xiaomi.eu installs it on device updates.

Two questions:
Do you have any screen lock active?
When booting TWRP does it prompt you for the PIN to decrypt?

No. I have no screen lock, and I tried to add a PIN password, but no luck, it propmts nothing about password and doesn't decrypt for me.

I am still not able to attach log file here so I uploaded it on PasteBin.

It seems to be confirmed when changing Rom or branch in the same:
it's needed to format data or reset the phone.

Hi!Thank you for your contributions but Ive got a little question:Which device tree did you use?I found a repo on GitHub(github.com/Dhollmen/Twrp_device_gauguin),is that yours?

Well, your recovery has no extra language support(like Chinese,Japanese and Korea) and it can be enabled by edit the device tree.

Thank you for your work!

I haven't problem to include Asian languages in next releases. I just haven't included them in any previous recovery so far.
If you wish to change or revise translations of any of them, I can upload the required file, including the non-standard texts for you to translate.

The device tree you are looking for is in my private git.
However, I've updated Github repo, for you. There you've it now.

Flashed LOS 19.1 and can't decrypt. Recovery doesn't prompt for password.

Can you try this?

Please remove pin, gesture, fingerprint and face protection.
Restart to recovery mode and check if your data is decrypted.
If decryption is successful, please reboot to system and set a pin.
Restart again to recovery mode and check if the issue is gone.

Please, keep in mind:

1) You don't give any additional information.
2) I don't have such a rom installed, so I can't evaluate it by myself.
3) I can't provide any support for Lineage. You better try at their forums.

I have a big problem with this recovery. Decrypted successfully
successfully decripted with default password
running recovery script .... done
full selinux support is present

Unmounting Super
error installing zip file

What can be the cause?
in what am I wrong in the installation of the rom?
Thanks for your help

We've to suppose the file to install is incorrect.

There is an option to obtain the process's logs. Maybe the explanation can be found in them.

You could also indicate what you are trying to install.

Dobbiamo supporre che il file da installare non sia corretto.

C'è un'opzione per ottenere i log del processo. Forse la spiegazione può essere trovata in loro.

Potresti anche indicare cosa stai cercando di installare.
i'm trying to install : MMX_3x.22.0_gauguin_22.8.25_v13-12_25200_9_20220828.

i'm trying to install : MMX_3x.22.0_gauguin_22.8.25_v13-12_25200_9_20220828.

Last friday I installed that version, from xiaomi.eu. Not problem at all.
No one reported errors while updating the rom (which wouldn't be attributable to TWRP)

So, without seeing logs, I can only assume that your update file is not valid.

I've flashed this recovery and I can say that this is the best recovery for the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G but there's one con and that's I wanted to wipe cache and dalvik which I always do after every update and it clearly stated that it doesn't remove the data on the internal storage but after the swipe it said "Factory Reset" while performing the task in TWRP and after booting up my phone is reset.

Thanks god, i am not loosing my mind (yet anyhow), i did run similar posts at the EU forum , but no help from there as such. I do hope you will be able to fix this.

@ad927vn as far as i can tell this is the only YWRP out there for our device, maybe they are using home cooked version for inhouse testing.

I just saw the response you got. Let's continue here.

Will start the work tonight. As soon as I know something ...

"Convert ROM to RW" work for MIUI 12.5/android11. thanks :D
    ... I will try in MIUI 13 / android 12.

Please advice how i can update the original TWRP on my phone to your latest version. Can i simply download it to my phone and instal with the TWRP i currently have?

    Yes, you can.
But that does not ensure the installation script will work with an old TWRP.

If you have trouble that way, extract the recovery image from the zip file and install it via fastboot (this time only).

    Check the first post.

    I'am using stable ROM: xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9Pro5G_MI10TLite_V13.0.5.0.SJSCNXM_v13-12-fastboot.zip
I want replace some fonts in \system because fonts in Themes app can't apply for MIUI Brower app. It make some website in my language (Vietnamese) not normal display. MiSans font not good for my language.

    Right.
If you are just trying to change something in /system it is enough to mount it in rw mode.
You have several ways to do this, taking into account that the mount point is always /system_root:
    1) From Twrp, mounting /system using the switch that allows you to mount it in rw mode.
    2) From Twrp console, typing something like this:
    mount -o rw /dev/block/dm-2 /system_root
    3) From PC with ADB while being previously in TWRP:
    adb shell
mount with the same valid command in the point 2)
It is more comfortable to use the commands from a PC while using ADB..

Have you tried any of these methods?

About fonts: have you tried any of the classic Roboto or Noto fonts.?
I guess the browser will use the system font and the easiest thing to do would be to use a theme to install and apply it.
However, what may happen is that when you try to install the theme, it doesn't really contain the font that you expect it to contain or it doesn't have all the language variants included. In that case, the simplest thing to do would be (having the exact font you want) to prepare a theme to apply it..

After a lot of issues getting decryption to work, I now have this working.
I also installed Magisk via the 'Advanced' tab Inc Zigisk without the 'Patched image' route and it works 👍

Format: Zip file to install from TWRP.

    Some reviews.

Since xiaomi.eu rom replaces boot Logo on global devices, showing "Redmi"
this release includes options to switch logo between "MI" and "Redmi".

Each has two versions to choose from:

    1 - Factory stock.
2 - Like stock but hiding the padlock shown when bootloader is open.
    3
    Lineage os data decrypted successfully.
