can this twrp with mod able to boot after flashing via global 10.0.1? ive been reading posts about bootloop after flasing twrp on global rom 10.0.1
just wanna make sure that im not gonna messed up with my phone. btw, my max3 was a china version and I was able to unlock bl, flashed global 10.0.1 via miflash.

Those posts are about official release. This one should be fine. Let me know...

Nothing different with Pie about recovery so... You tell me...

PS: Always wondering why people ask these type of questions instead of test it and post feedback!? It's not like you will irrecoverably brick the device or something by flashing and testing kernels, recoveries, ROMs etc...

Nope. there's an issue with mounting internal memory when using this twrp though I followed the steps. I managed to change rom (now @ latest eu rom) using the official twrp.

Did you test this zip file with official twrp, OrangeFox, or another recovery to compare? That's the only way to know if you're having an issue with nijel8's recovery or your file is actually corrupt. Do that test.

Judging by the name this is some very very exotic port... Even Google can't find anything...
8.11.23 as Global for Max 3!? Does it even exists? Give me download link to test it.

EDIT: Never mind... Found it... Lieked beta for internal testing. Flashing and running no problems at all.
Next time try again before giving me a heart attack...

BTW was running MIUI 9. This one is MIUI 10. Did not flash any firmwares from 8.11.23, just boot, system and vendor. No data wipe, no anything, pure dirty flash. Boots and runs just fine with the old Global 9.6.6.0 firmware and userdata. So whoever tells you to wipe everything before updating to MIUI 10 knows nothing about these stuff... Period...

EDIT2: This 8.11.23 was build on 11/22/2018 at 4:57:44 PM Chinese time... Wondering what is Xiaomi still testing on Oreo if Pie for Max3 is on the way according to some "reliable" sources!?

Did you test this zip file with official twrp, OrangeFox, or another recovery to compare? That's the only way to know if you're having an issue with nijel8's recovery or your file is actually corrupt. Do that test.

I should fill insulted... I consider my builds a lot more better than anything official out there for one simple reason - they are maintained a lot better and any issues, especially device specific ones, are addressed as fast as possible with device on hand...

I install this TWRP
Restart in TWRP
Clean cache, data, dalkin, system
Restart in recovery
Lazy rom and zip flashing
Restart in system and it does not turn on, it remains many minutes in the initial screen where the logo of MIUI and Android loading ....

All this coming from Rom EU weekly. Where is the error so that I do not start the system after flashing rom beta Global?

Yeah, there are still some rear scenarios like that one when some decrypting and survival routine bugs are occurring... Investigating...
BTW way I would never install OTA automatically without checking the zip what is doing first but that just me... That's how you keep control over your device. Otherwise you might end up with locked bootloader, ARB issues etc...

The problem is that after downloading and unpacking the OTA (native update) Zip is broken.

3.2.3-2 working good. Flash .zip file ok. No any boot problem.
When it have EU rom for mimax3 (Android P). I will test it for you.

That's why I tried to launch OTA via TWRP

Zip is not broken...
