I just decided to cook up some clockworkmod recovery for the nexus 4. Build it using the stock kernel that came in the JOP40C factory image.

Here's the linky:

Also, I don't have my nexus 4 yet to test on, so if you are lucky enough to have yours already, flash at your own risk. I would reccomend using "fastboot boot recovery.img" first to test. And if you screw up anyhow, here's the stock recovery: (I didn't make this one)

I usually package recovery.img's as boot.imgs for testing that way you just reboot recovery to recovery - get it? Makes testing simple for the inevitable broken button mapping bad lun path and derpdy derps that are bound to happen

Shouldn't it be "fastboot flash boot recovery.img" to send recovery to the phone?
No that would flash the recovery image to the boot partition
