It is working as it should in the new Bump version.AFAIK they disabled on G variants because some devices aren't waking after screen timeout.
Why would you need two Bump versions? I have 4.2.2 bootloader and have no issues with @jsevi83 version.I was able to successfully use the latest twrp recovery.img from this thread and run Open Bump on it, repackage it, and install it. Works great.
@Rick Roll
If you say it's ok, I can also post a bumped version of your twrp build that supports the 4.2.2 boot loader which I have tested myself. But,I don't want to take over this thread and I really appreciate that Rick Roll supports and maintains this project.
Well, as I understand it, if you use one that's designed for the other, you will get screen dimming issues. I have used both and neither has screen dimming.I thought Rick Roll's version was built for 4.2.2 bootloader and the other bumped version is for 4.4.2 bootloader.
Maybe the screen timeout will cause problems though. It might be problematic for the screen to timeout while it's flashing.Well, as I understand it, if you use one that's designed for the other, you will get screen dimming issues. I have used both and neither has screen dimming.
The only differences I see, is that the Bump version doesn't go through the ugly Error screen and the Screen Timeout feature works with it.
No problems and it saves a lot of battery during a backup.Maybe the screen timeout will cause problems though. It might be problematic for the screen to timeout while it's flashing.
Are you using the recovery that fixes the secure boot error (bump version)? If yes, then is your aboot partition from 4.2.2 so that it is loki exploitable? You can test this theory by trying to install the euphoria rom that already has a bumped kernel and does not require a downgraded aboot partition.help guys i cant install anything

Imho, all ROMs should be converted to the bumped version so that they do not require a downgraded aboot that is loki exploitable.
