Ok just want to confirm something. I am currently on 4.4.2 20d firmware, if I use DD command to get the 10A aboot will I be able to flash this TWRP without problems other than the brightness issue !? Or is it more advisable to downgrade ? Because downgeading with the tool seems much more lengthy process. In other words why would anyone downgrade whole firmware if they can just downgrade the aboot partition !?

Huh? I you sure you're on the right thread? This thread is for the GPE aka V510, not the V500. With the V510 there's no need to play around with aboot or anything.

Hi, does this recovery have f2fs file system support? I switched my G2 over and love the increased responsiveness.

The latest official 2.8.7.1 has f2fs support.
Only the one for v500 has f2fs support, twrp for v510 doesn't have f2fs support. Maybe when I have some time I can fix that.
