You means the option in developers mode?

no that in gamespace you can choose superperformance then the phone clocks at the highest clock rate but after the update it no longer works. That was the real feature why I bought the phone

I've noticed my games were not running as fast as before. Especially emulators. Pls. fix as its the main purpose of this phone.

NB:
Also, something missing in the rom (EU 413), is app start-up. It should be under battery or power management so we can manually toggle which apps start on boot and which can keep running in the background.

They are too busy updating the CN rom to give a flying fudge.. at this point I'm done with nubia products... Heck even the red magic mars got a update on the CN rom.... Either going too sell it or wait for blackmagic5g rom to be updated

Not silent in chinese, they're currently testing closed alpha versions of android R. Beta release (still china only for now) is scheduled for mid October.

The combined rom(to link the 5s and 5g) that was released recently seemed to have fixed more issues, and is making a good solid rom. Albeit with alot of chinese bloatware. And may be the last update before android 11. -we should see a NA/EU version of the combined rom over the next few weeks to a month hopefully. Since they just released it in china publically recently.

No public test notification for android 11 yet.

But i have read that Evo X, crdroid and afew other GSI's on the 5G have very few bugs, mostly working and stable roms. Meaning we should have a large collection of custom roms to play with. Even without official lineage.

Bugs known as of now,

Gamespace does not work ( so no triggers)
Ear piece for wired headphones does not work.

Seems to be all thsts been reported so far.

A fellow on the telegram group is working on a video tutorial for loading gsi's onto the rm5g.

If he allows me, i'll post it in xda, with a written guide along side it.

Well, this is my first thread to clarify my identity. As many people asked, yes I'm working for Nubia and responsible for all the tech support and related stuff, including the system update and some of the development work.

I'm here with my personal account to provide UN-OFFICIAL support to all the users around the world. I hope through my effort people can enjoy the RedMagic series smartphone. And I also hope developers around the world can use our phone to make better ROMS. Due to some of the regulation and restriction most of the time I can't provide a direct answer, however I can give you some tips and hints to solve it. So please don't push me too hard.

Because my works on XDA is not officially supported by the company so I can't check the XDA very often. @JerryYin it sucks! I have a lower benchmark score. Do I have to buy a fan now to get higher cpu clock rate? I don't care how hot my cell phone is. I want a high cpu clock rate without an extra fan. Man what the point, once I buy a smartphone for the first time which promises not to throttle and after the redmagic 5s comes 5g will be deteriorated or what?

Contact qualcomm they lock the cpu clock. And it cannot be changed by oem.

You got a bunch of background apps running?
Auto start and persistent apps running?
Are you running your benchmark in the game space app? With performance turned on?
Are you blocking the intake vent for the fan?
Is your internal memory near full?
Have you cleared cache memory or ran trim before your benchmark?

Nubia's bench scores are tested in a lab. On clean optimized systems.

Its very possible to get similar and even better mark scores than nubia if you configure your phone correctly and prep it for a high score.

But a benchmark does not show real life performance in day to day use. Its a magic useless number that crazy people rely on for some arbitrary belief that their phone is better than another somehow.

Mine benches higher than nubia's posted scores. That without modifying anything on the phone.
