My first Nubia phone

You know this is my first Nubia phone, it came to me with firmware 3.08 and since i updated it with firmware 3.11 and that has made great difference on performance and some software bug fixes and of course there is a lot to be done before we can all agree that the high end hardware is worth an other look but who ever buys this phones knows that your buying from an OEM that does not exist on your country region unless if your in Asia and so there for we are not been ripped off buy the likes of Samsung, Apple, LG and now OnePlus with a phones that cost $1500- $2300 here in Canada. For $800 that i payed for this i know what im getting into and its sustancially cheaper but at the same time in the hope that there is some support and update upgrades... So having say that upgrade your firmware to 3.11 and your be happier or it'll hold you up for the hopeful next upgrade....

I add three screenshots of the line messaging app theme, in the first I show you the notification on the lock screen, where the notification of the new message actually arrived, in the second I show you that when entering the notification bar it does not show the icon that has a notification and finally if you expand the notification center you can see what if the notification is as such. In short they arrive but for some reason for this specific app there is no notice that there is a new message.

With version 4.09 the volume control design lost the phone theme layer, now it shows the volume control as basic, before it was a thicker bar with gray color, now it is just the traditional one.

So let me repeat your issue, you mean that the notification for LINE arrives, but it is not shown as an icon in notification bar. But if you pull down the notification center you can actually see the message. Am I correct?

They are not going to support the device. If you had done any research before purchasing it, you would see that Nubia released the Red Magic 3 and the 3S. Both of those device launched with Android 9 and neither have been updated to Android 10. And Nubia has said they have no plans to update it. Both devices received ONE pathetic bug fix update. Both devices are currently sitting on the August 2019 security patch. What kind of company sells a device and offers NO MAJOR OS UPDATES?! Nubia's business plan is to sell a device with impressive HARDWARE for the least amount of money possible, but when it comes to software support, you get what you pay for. You should send it back while you still can. Go have a look in the Red Magic 3/3S forum and you'll see what you have to look forward to. I'm sure they're deep into planning their next phone release already.

The RedMagic 3S will get the Android 10 update soon.

The version 311 fix a lot of bugs, and the future update will fix more bugs and also bring the new features like 3rd party launcher support.

In an unfortunate condition , i got my phone stuck in edl by doing manual update.
i already tried using volume keys , phone comes out from edl and sametime again go in EDL
kindly help me out in this situation , Thankyou soo much

Hello, I have a RM 5G global that is stuck in edl mode regardless of what I do to it. Is there a way to flash in this mode I already downloaded the Global 4.09 firmware. Please advice. thanks

Hello, i doubt there is anything wrong with the Google Pay App. Im trying to use google pay but it doesn't seem to work.
I set up everything. Added card, turned on NFC but Phone doesn't respond when i get it closer to the payment machine.

Hello, I have a suggestion to improve the phone.
Is it possible to add the "Redmagic symbol lamp" to also be able to light when you have a notificartion (like the Light strip), I don't mind to have only red, but with my current case I can only see the readmagic symbol and it will really be usefull to also have a notification light (even in full red) everytime the front notification led it on.

One strange bug, if I set Spanish as main language, camera can't record slow motion videos at 960 and 1920 fps, app closes when setting framerate. If I set English it works ok.

Exactly, and it only happens with Line, all the rest ok, I already checked all the configurations I installed, uninstalled and it continues happening.

Custom AOD with own pic doesnt work. When applied the default pink triangle aod is shown instead even if custom is selected.

It's great to have someone from Nubia here on the forums...I sincerely hope we can get development support because this phone has some fantastic capabilities if it gets developer support.

I'm on NA version 3.11 and I have a very strange bug to report that a few other users have also noticed. At least a few times a day I'll unlock my phone, go into either Chrome or Samsung Internet Browser and when I go to a website the touch scrolling has zero momentum. Basically flick scrolling stops working and it stops immediately when I lift my finger off the display. This will happen no matter how many tabs I open or close. Scrolling remains normal in other apps including Firefox browser. What's very strange is the minute I do a back gesture, the scrolling goes back to normal in the Chromium browsers. @JerryYin would you kindly look into this bug?

So you said that the next upgrade its on his way and you even said Friday.... Without an actual date but that was two weeks ago, i was wondering if you know which Friday? Also, i was wondering if anynof the updates will be provided as OTA or we have to search and install manually?

Google Pay issue was confirmed, they are now working on it. Please PM me the detail with a picture fo the error message shows on the POS terminal.
