Was someone able to access the "Connect with MIAssistant" part using pcsuite?
I couldn't, but I think it might be because the USB cable I'm using is not the original one from Xiaomi or one compatible.
I was able to do that. First to be able to connect to pcsuite you need to download the version 4, it is in beta. It was renamed to MiPhoneAssistant, and it is available only in chinese. In my case it was useless because my bootloader was locked. When I tried to flash my device it send me to the MiUnlockTool, but when I tried to unlock it it return error 1004.

I managed to solve it, even though the bootloader was blocked.
If you already have the bootloader unlocked, skip to the part of the mi flash tool, if it is locked, follow the step by step.
We will need:
https://c.mi.com/in/miuidownload/detail?guide=2 which is the flashable rom by fastboot

We will also need the miflash
And for those who have a locked bootloader, there is a way to unlock it using a tool called mtkclient, available at this link https://github.com/notmyst33d/mtkclient-gui/releases

you will first need to unlock the bootloader, for that you will use mtkclient, when downloading you extract the folder and double click on the "start" file, YOUR DEVICE MUST BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE COMPUTER, when opening select option 3 - bypass SLA/DAA, it will keep showing a repeated message until you connect the cell phone in BROM mode. To enter BROM mode, with the mobile phone on or off, press volume +, volume - and power at the same time (for this part it is interesting that before pressing the buttons you are seeing something on the screen, so you will notice that the screen turned off when pressing the buttons), when you have the buttons pressed and the screen is off, you connect the cable and release the buttons, immediately the script will start.
When you finish this part do the same thing in the same file, but now it will be in option 1 - unlock bootloader.
When finished, your device will try to boot and you will notice that the bootloader is unlocked.
Now just install the indicated rom (or any other less than 12.5.5.0) using mi flash.
Detail, when using mi flash, make sure you don't block the bootloader again.
AND DO NOT UPDATE THE DEVICE UNTIL A FUNCTIONAL ROM IS OUT

Aight so, my device was affected too. Stuck in the loop and couldn't access anything yada yada.
I'm an absolute beginner at anything regarding the inner workings of a phone. So I just went ahead and hit the wipe data option (would have been great if there was an option to back up the data, but whatevs I'm just happy I got this thing running smoothly again). Ah, it was factory reset and I had to do the thing at the start like starting your region and blah blah blah. rn it's downgraded to V12.5.4.0

I wonder what'll happen when I get the update to MIUI 13

Hi, does this solution avoided data loss for you?
I thought when flashing you always lose all data. Please confirm this.

Thanks!

I downloaded the Beta version of pcsuite v4, but not only its in chinese, one cannot get past the home page and I see many posts talking the same. If you have maybe a different version, could you share the link where you downloaded it?

Thanks!

look at the version number on the box, the Global M2103K19G version, but if it's M2103K19C it means you have a Chinese version with
unlock bootloader with a Miui Global Mi Rom (international) the problem comes from where you bought it, not from the update

I'm with this same problem, I bought the smartphone thinking it was global version, but it is Chinese version. Do you think Xiaomi will fix this update? I was forced to disable the update.

Hi, the problem does not come from the Miui Global MI Rom, but from the fact that you had a model reserved for China, or the seller put a Global Rom, while this M2103K19C model must have a Chinese Rom! the developers of Miui have nothing to do with it, the problem is the sellers
dishonest

There is a new solution, hold volume up, volume down and power button at the same time for about 1 to 2 minutes. The phone will reboot without updating the phone and without losing data.

If that's the case, then why does the phone update normally when a person selects wipe data option?

The only solution is to wipe the phone. I got my lesson I will buy a samsung now

the only solution is enter into fastboot mode and flash stock fastboot firmware via miflash or similar tool
I tried that, but I am getting an error saying not allowed in locked state. It looks like the bootloader is locked, so I tried to use the Mi Unlock tool but I am getting error 1004. Also I tried wipe data, but it didn't work either. Right now, I don't care loss my data, I just want to have my phone back, any help is appreciated. Thanks
