Please elaborate on this matter!The indian version uses Sony sensors (the sames from the Mi A2 and Redmi note 6 Pro)
The rear may actually be worse as the Sony sensor is smaller, but the front 20 MP (5, it's pixel binned) is better than the omnivision one
And even that doesn't matter much cuz you can buy the sensor replacements on AliExpress

I'm sorry, but there are no variations of the redmi note 8(or t), they all use the same sgm1 and the 13MP omnivision as the front sensorPlease elaborate on this matter!
I'm interested in switching to a better sensor for my Redmi Note 8T. Not happy with samsung sg1 sensor. Other version of the same phone have Sony sensors on board and some newer board versions a baetter samsung sensor, sg2.
