What's up guys? We present a project in which we are working, it's a PROJECT for SUBSTRATUM next to the Framework with various thematic options packaged in a flasheable zip Aroma via custom recovery.

NOTE: The PROJECT is in the test phase so you will find some things to be themed, please be patient, we are in it.

Installation method:

Latest version of TWRP recovery
Root Permissions
Put in the internal memory of the device aroma installer zip
Install AROMA, choose your preference, wipe cache dalvik
Then download and install the SUBSTRATUM RedXPERIENCE app, choose Op5 (not Op3 or Op3t)
And in Qs background choose only for stables.
NOTE If you have installed another module please delete all overlays first
Rounded UI is in phase beta, this paint yours notifications in grey
If you want to test this first set the option of op5, configure to your liking, reboot, and then choose rounded where you only will chooose system ui, Qs background.

A few questions. 4.5.4 I understood was only for select markets, not for everyone. Also... Does this break Safety Net? I use Substratum but with the systemless Magisk module to keep system untouched

4.5.4 works for alls markets its a global firm, i have susbratum and magisk too and works fine, make a nandroid first and try

That will likely break Safety Net. And you might also be aware that our current TWRP isn't great at restoring backups... So, not sure I'm keen to just go for it!

It doesn't break safety net. If you want to uninstall just flash full ROM, no need to restore an entire TWRP backup.

I use the Substratum Swift Dark theme but it does not black theme the notifications. Can I remove the Dialer and OPInCallUI directories from the flash file leaving only the framework and OPSystemUI and get black themed notifications only?

one thing worth mentioning..
this switched my recents and my back buttons..
after flashing they were reversed.
I flashed both the black notification and fall recording mods.
I went into setting - buttons - and enabled the switch buttons to switch them back..

Problem is the line changed in build.prop, i can live without calls recording haha

2 more strange things..
as I said I flashed both the blackout and call recording mods..

1) now my contacts are coming up as Chinese characters in phone logs. (when I receive or make calls and in call history that is)

2) I use Facebook messenger and incorporate sms in the app. after flashing the mod this no longer works. . the app never finishes loading..

anyone?

I will further investigate..

EDIT:
reflash rom without the mods and all worked normally..
the Chinese characters I saw seem like the location of the phone number written in Chinese. and for some reason it was displaying contact name..
fb messenger is working normally now without the mods..

EDIT 2:
can we get a mod just for black notifications and not other stuff? pretty pleaaaase. :laugh:
is it as simple as removing the other 2 apks from the zip?

@dapero: First of all thank you for making this mod available
Just before I test this do I have to be on 4.5.4 or can I just flash 4.5.4 fw and modem package over 4.5.3 and flash your mod over it.

As 4.5.4 was only incremental for Dutch users I am running 4.5.3 for now.

Edit: i compare both 4.5.3 and 4.5.4 in terms of FW/Modem no changes thus flashed the mod and it works as desired.

You can update the OP as it works on 4.5.3 as well for other global users.
