and one more for the road..

This thread deserves some recognition. It's time I start spreading the word again.
hey Luigi,
i read somewhere on the actual kernel thread that you have a v4 for your row balanced bull settings. is this correct? can you share?
i have v3 from this thread applied and battery life is awesome. just wondering if there were any major improvements.

His Row Balanced V4 is for Galaxy S4. I have translated it. Will update the post once done testing. For future reference, he usually posts his files on this thread.

Thanks Perseus. @macgregger is correct. I do have v4 but is currently in TK's Box folder. I have not updated my thread yet but will do so as soon as I can.

@LuigiBull23, thanks for letting me know. Been forgetting your Box Folder. My apologies. I will grab that profile and update the post above.
Don't we all forget.. You guys just triggered my memory over the fact that I haven't even updated my OP with v4. but given that my thread is now dead and buried I figured no one would pester me for it anyways.

Thanks.. I'm still wondering though on how did you turn off the other two cores? I already read the settings guide (and even the adjustments done on your profile) but I still can't crack what settings you tweaked to accomplish this.

Mind pointing me on the right direction?
A magician doesn't reveal his secrets ! :)

Seriously speaking, he along with profile, also gives setting details on the governor and therein lies your answer.

All 3 cores are set to come online on demand and due to it's high thresholds will happen under very high load. I only have cpu0 set to boost upon screen touch so the others remain off.

Ah okay.. I really thought it's a single core profile coz I have yet to see the other 3 cores activate. Anyway, huge thanks man!

Your profile is the smoothest I've ever used with insane battery saving capability, I was able to pull off almost 6 hrs (5 hrs average) screentime with wifi always on.

PS: Whenever I turn on the 'Auto Hotplug' option, I can see the other 3 cores being active.. any reasons why? It seems the high thresholds are being bypassed by this option.

Thanks man. You had mentioned reading through the guide in your OP, yes? Well based on the knowledge you've obtained thanks to all the essential and convenient information provided here on the thread, the Ktweaker Shop will be expecting you to apply that knowledge by delivering your own original setup in the near future. :)

EDIT: Leave auto hotplug off. Ktoonservative(q) has integrated hotplug and enabling auto hotplug will just deactivate stand hotplug logic. This goes for any hotplug enabled governor. Only use that feature for non-hotpluggling governors.

If you flashed the Leaked 4.3 Rom from Doc Holliday's thread then you can not use this kernel. It is not compatible yet. If you flashed some other rom, please specify its thread or name & Version.

Hey all. This is the third different phone I've used this amazing kernel on. I've used the guide and trial and error to learn.
On ask the other installs, i had oc'ed the cpu for when my phone was charging. It always worked like a charm. BUT, ur doesn't seem to work now. (I'm on my charger right now and it says in the tweak program i am underclocked by 1 step, when i should be overclocked by two steps while charging)

I am using the koontzervative (sp? Sorry) governer, row scheduler (noop scheduler when the screen is off) and undervolted by 10.

ALso running cm 10.2 android 4.3
Any ideas? I probably missed it in rereading this great thread ...
Thanks
