Jig arrived from e-bay, followed steps exactly as instructed and success.

I'll admit it was scary on the initial boot-up delay.

Thanks!
Me too! But all working as described THANKS to OP. Definitely worth the few pennies to buy this JIG.

There is a step missing from the instructions though, that is to plug the cable back in to the Phone and PC after step 9

Also, you should never remove the battery if still connected by cable to a power source including power drawn over USB.

worked with a homemade JIG.

altought where all should be blank and with no sounds... there where sounds... the sound where the phone boots up the animation.
put the battery out and started where i left..

did someone try to pc odin flash a phone with a cable that has the jig resistors on it? does it increment the counter?

JIG is not required to update to ICS!

Once you are on ICS, just downgrade to Chain-fire Repack ICS leak ROM by installing it using PC ODIN.

Next install the TriangleAway.1.25.apk and run it. Check if the counter is set. If it is, select clear the counter button.

From there on you could install any ROMS from CWM bootscreen without increasing your counter.

It will work for Galaxy Note GT-N7000 model.

Say goodbye to the pesky yellow triangle!

Look at the thread name. There many other ways how to remove triangle without jig. Triangle Away works ONLY with CLP1. At CLP5 and CLP6 it won't work anymore. If you will downgrade you will need to wipe many times and may have unstable firmware after this.
