I made a terrible mistake I used your procedure for my Samsung Galaxy S2 and I cannot put my mobile in download or recovery mode, at least I cannot see because the screen is black. The phone works but the screen is black until it asks for my pin. Could you please help me what to do?

May be I need to clarify that the problem is no longer that of removing the yellow triangle but that of a black screen or a turned off screen when starting up or reboting. Otherwise my Samsung Galaxy S2 seems to work properly. What I did was that I have flashed the wrong firmware to remove the yellow triangle, one intended for Galaxy Note GT-N7000. Everything seems to be working okey with the exception that now whenever I start up the screen of my SGS2 remains turned off (BLACK) until the point I have to set my pin. My SGS2 is rooted and I have UHLPS NeatRom Full (Build date: Tue Jun 12 201, Modem: UHLPG, CSC: AROLP4, CF-Root v5.5 UHLPK). Whenever I enter the DOWNLOAD OR RECOVERY MODE either using the three buttons or CWM Manager the screen turns off (is black) but the mode seems to work. Also CWM Manager seems to be working okey, I used it to restore data. Can you please help me because I have no idea how to repair this black screen error?

Please don't forget that triangle away requires root and android 4.0.x and higher.

I wrote that it requires root. And it should be a given that it won't work on GB since it won't even install on GB framework

First I would like to thank the author.
Second, I would request everyone to read the instruction very and very carefully before making any complaint.
Initially I thought my phone got bricked after point 7. Then I started googling for ways to unbrick. Then I came back here to read the instruction again and again and finally noticed that screen will be off from point 7-10. I have followed the steps again from 7-10 regardless of the screen. My phone is back without Yellow Triangle.

Worked great running the Asylum AOKP V2 ROM.

Agree re the freaking out with the black screen, but follow the instructions and all is good.

Are you sure that you read all instructions from first post and FAQ carefully?

Are you sure your battery has still got power? Do you see the battery charging when you plug in your cable?
