[REF] How to remove yellow triangle on any firmware with JIG

Of course you need a USB JIG!

Pls flash easily the unfriendly bootloader. Then you will get the normal screen.
Be patient!
After the flash of the JIG-friendly bootloader, take out the battery, then wait 5 sec. and put the battery back.
Now press fast for 10sec. Volume down + Home + Power (all @ same time).
Release them and now press only once again the Volume up button.
Then connect the Phone via USB with the PC and Odin (Desktop).
After a short time, there will be show "added", now flash the unfriendly bootloader. Wait for the end! After this, the phone will auto. reboot.
If there is no screen on the phone, so pls take out the battery, wait and put it back.

Pls note...this guide is only for user, who have forgotten that they do not have USB JIG.

Be extra careful! What Chris X. posted is only to restore the 'unfriendly' (SGN) bootloader!
You still need the Jig to do the whole procedure. Please read the OP again

Just letting everyone know that this method, along with the jig, reset my counter to zero, reset my firmware to samsung official and removed my yellow triangle all while running aospgn04 (ICS 4.0.3).

Or if anybody knows of a method that works.. I've read flashing the stock kernel works or achieves reseting the counter. Appreciate any help.

Need some help here. I was successfully able to follow all the steps sometime last month. Now since I have flashed the ICS Chainfire repack, I have the yellow triangle as well as the counter has incremented.

I have followed all the steps, but after the jig part, I am unable to enter Download Mode. I have tried several times but it boots straight into my OS.
I have held Volume Down+Center Button+Power Button and then I need to press the Volume up button to enter download mode. Yes, I have done that several times, but this time it just doesnt want to do it. Once the phone boots into the OS, I can unlock the phone and increase/decrease volume (though I cant see ****). So there is nothing wrong with the buttons.

Is there any other way I can enter download mode? Any ADB command or something?

Try TriangleAway apk from Chainfire? Only works for ICS.

EDIT: Sorry I didn't know that you're after jig. Maybe removing the battery for 5 secs and try entering download again? Sorry mate..

LOL. Thanks man. Its cool. I managed to get it done. I realized that it WAS getting into download mode but it was taking a long time for me to be able to see the 'Added' message on Odin.

Just try to go back to download mode and continue from there. U can not brick ur phone. Its impossible
