Perhaps try a new Sim card?

QPST-EFS explorer, in folder policyman/carriers_policy.XML may effect about your case, try to backup efs and then clean those policy man folder to have a trial.

@zephiK, can you update our code to
fastboot flash radio radio.img

and here I have a question about what is inside the modems, for MOTO X2 XT1085 modems, we can use ImgExtrator or ext4_unpacker to browse it,
but that is not works anymore for NEXUS6, anybody know a tools browse NEXUS6 modem images?
from binary, I can only see 98R add 3 mdm9xxx efs files or moe in front of 95R binary, the the left major binary are totally the same...

I come to track any answer for questions above.

I had my efs backed up, but unfortunately it was backed up to my phone, when I was trying to fix my phone and messing around with different radios I accidentally lost everything that was stored on my phone...

I'm not saying it is but from experience I seen this issue is the efs and that may be the issue.. And yes I said may. I could be wrong just posting my opinion of what it can be.

This is a list of radios for the Nexus 6 (shamu). With the new OTA release, some people may have better signals with the old radio or want to tinker with the new one so here is a list that will be updated to allow users to switch to their preferred radio/modem.

Radios are independent of Android version, use the radio that provides you the best signal. It varies from user to user, there is no best radio/modem Why? Different carriers, different locations, and more. There are so many factors that play into cellular signal so just because a particular radio is the best for someone doesn't mean its the best for you. We can obtain a consensus on which radio performs the "best" for the largest % of users though.

    How to Flash?
    1) Fastboot: Download the .img file below then flash it using Fastboot.
    fastboot flash radio radio.img

Sorry about the borked images from before, guys. Looks like my work machine has some sort of hard drive issue - dmesg is full of fun similar to sector failure. The images I just created matched signature verification across five separate dumps compared to the original images created earlier, but some of the ones that are currently on the work drive don't match, even though they were copied from the same place. I've created a new zip with double-checked, triple-checked + signatures, and I've tested flashing it multiple times on my Nexus 6 without issue, including moving between different radios. Here's the file for anyone brave enough to trust me ;):

Still too lazy to figure out who originally requested the zip, but here you go (05.34):

I just did a fun downgrade/upgrade combo to get my MRA58R Project Fi phone upgraded to MRA58X. To save some trouble for others, I went ahead and dumped the MRA58X radio (05.30R) and made a flashable zip you can download here:

I made three separate dumps (using dd), and all three had matching sha256sums, so the dump itself seems ok in the basic sanity check. I also flashed an older Fi radio and flashed this zip over it to ensure it properly upgrades to 05.30R, and all is well so far with the connection.

I won't have a chance to test band 12 on Project Fi / T-Mobile until tomorrow morning's commute at least, but I'll report back here with my findings for any curious Fi users.
    Added: LMZ48E T-Mobile flashable zip
This radio is from the new OTA by T-Mobile, the radio should work on all carriers regardless.
